Later this week, Time Rifts will open for testing on the PTR.
This week, testers will be able to play through stage one of the Time Rift event. Stage two, which is coming in a later build, will take you through a portal into the alternate timeway from which the incursion is coming. When you complete stage one on the PTR, you should get a message saying that this is all that is available for testing.
Initially, testers will see invasions from the murloc world of Azmerloth and from the Titan-inspired world of Ulderoth. Future PTR builds will include incursions from other worlds.
Thank you for your testing and feedback!
After four years of gathering online–adventuring through Azeroth, teaming up in Overwatch, traversing the fields of Sanctuary, or warming yourself by the fire in the Tavern–it’s finally time to gather in person once more. We are happy to announce that BlizzCon will be returning to the Anaheim Convention Center on November 3-4!
Our players are at the heart of what makes BlizzCon great–a place where games are the common ground for connection and friendship. Whether you’re coming to hang out with friends you only ever get to see online, celebrating epic moments in the games we love, exploring what’s on offer in the convention center halls, or eager to learn what’s next for our universes, BlizzCon is being created for you. It’s the community that has always made this event so special, and we can’t wait to see you all again.
We’ll be back with more details about the show next month, including ticketing information, cosplay and other competition details, and mor...

Here’s a bit of info on how this works:
Once Scalecommander Sarkareth has been defeated for the first time on Mythic difficulty, the Cracked Titan Gem item that begins a Legendary weapon questline for Evokers will have a chance to drop from Scalecommander Sarkareth on all difficulties after the weekly reset in the region that he’s been defeated in. The item will be very rare on Raid Finder difficulty (when available) and slightly increases in drop rate with each difficulty.
Each week we’ll look ahead to what’s in store for World of Warcraft, share the latest news, and keep you in the know byte by byte. The Wrath Classic PvP Season is winding down and ends at the end of the month. Do you have what it takes to finish strong?
The second Wrath Classic PvP season will end at 10:00 p.m. PDT (1:00 a.m. EDT) on May 29.
During maintenance on May 30, Arena Point costs for Season 6 gear will be reduced, and rating requirements will be removed for most items, though will still be required for elite weapons. During the offseason, all ranked Arena play will be unavailable. Once Arena Season 7 begins, Arena Points will be converted to Honor.
Good luck on a strong finish!
