Exploiter Orb Fixes:
The team continues to work on further crash fixes and Matchmaking issues related to join-in-progress and Operator specific cases. The particular case of missing Exploiter Orb during Phase 2 is also still under investigation. If you're playing through Steam (which I believe you both are), rebooting your PC has proven to fix this controller issue.

Quoting myself here to shed some light on this hot topic that is currently being discussed within this thread.

To be blunt, this is an exploit. The team here worked for months on creating a different kind of boss fight from the norm, and it was never intended for players to completely bypass phases of the Exploiter Orb. Going fast is fun, we totally get it. But going fast shouldn't sacrifice the hard work that has been made, or the proper intentions of phases/mechanics.

Another large part of this feedback is also the continued Matchmaking issues for the Exploiter Orb, that sometimes result in an inability to continue the fight. Thes...

Buried Debts: Hotfix 24.5.2

Exploiter Orb Fixes:

• Fixed ability to destroy the Exploiter Orb’s vents simultaneously. One vent at a time! 

Hildryn Fixes:

• Removed unintended ability to cast Hildryn’s Balefire while using an Atmosphere Archgun that resulted in a loss of functionality.
• Fixed inability to descend or dodge while Hildryn’s Aegis Storm is active on controller.
• Fixed ability to get stuck forever dodging by spamming dodge during Hildryn’s Aegis Storm.
• Fixed using Hildryn Aegis Storm causing airdodge to require one of your jumps for the rest of the mission (or until respawn).

Changes:

• Clicking on ‘X Friend Requests’ in the Active Events drop down will now take you to the Pending Friends screen.

Just a status update on this issue:

The team is still actively investigating these Matchmaking problems in Vallis. It involves some substantial behind-the-scenes fixes which require extensive testing, at which we're not ready to Hotfix just yet.

Apologies for these issues in the mean time. As Steve mentioned, we'll be extending the Thermia Fractures and Buried Debts expiration date once we've confirmed/launched the fix.

Thank you for giving us info about this bug! The team is working on a fix now to launch in a future hotfix.

Looks like there were a few Tenno missing Saryn's helmet. If this is you, please be sure to submit a support ticket!

Garuda's claws are also being looked into, but I don't have any news on those at the moment.
