Black Friday ships released in 2022 are eligible. Any ship that you mentioned that appeared in the game at some point before 2022 (so Black, GK, Khaba, etc.) are not elligible. Subs and Superships are elligible as long as they were officially released in 2022 (we're not counting testing in this case). Hope this helps!

My personal preference is play her mid-map. Her lower caliber means she can't overmatch, so there's not as much reason to slowly sail her out to a flank where she'd fire at bow-in targets, so playing mid-map tends to provide angle pressure against the ships which are on the flanks. Her Montana-like ballistics give nice ranged firing so AP is very usable where sides are found.
Her capable AA suite means she can isolate and still be able to hold position even against CVs. I put 3 points into the Priority Sector increasing Commander Skill to dial further in on this so I can feel more comfortably independant.
Solo Win Rate in her is below:

Buffs and Nerfs occur in response to Under or Over performance. This is perfectly normal.
The nerf to the Henry was a 2% change in reload reduction and a small reduction in firing range. The Henry UU build got a love tap to try and tap it into a better place.
Research Points which give you a new ship give you a new gameplay experience. The ship can be outfitted multiple ways, along with having its own unique feel as a ship. The ships are fairly expensive in terms of Research Points because they unlock quite a lot of experience to play with.
Unique Upgrades are less expensive, but still provide a different gameplay experience. The ship you'd attached them to is limited in variety for that experience because it's got a slot locked in, but the UU should ideally provide a new way to play a ship you already own.
I like the pacing of the game a lot. You can take many hits and it's about the long-term push and pull of the pieces on the board.
Also, I can't really find other games that give me the same package in an average of 10-15 minutes. A lot of other games that I consider playing run 20-40 minutes or more, and sometimes that feels like it's too long.
RIP your planned break, but it's great that you're having such a good time :D
