to the OP, good job on continuing to play the match out! The match is not over until it says "defeat" on your screen!

There has been countless times one team jumps out to an early big lead but get over-aggressive and begin to lose control of the map. A few ships start to die and the confidence grows in the team on the back foot. Once you over-extend it is really tough to get back to a position that you can regain control.

The Wichita is a good ship that if played right and can do some good things. As mentioned before the 27mm bow is a something that can really help you out if you get caught in a bow on situation. 15in guns cannot overmatch that bow so this leaves some ships struggling to deal significant damage if they don't aim for your superstructure.

I would echo what some other players have said and give the USN CA line a go before deciding. Get to the Baltimore and try her out before making the call on the Wichita =).

This is a third party tournament that is supported by WG. The tournament organizers set the rules and qualifications to participate. My suggestion to you, if you want to participate in a tournament like this is find a clan that is more active, recruit more people to your clan to begin participating or look to be play in the Shipstorm (3v3 format) tournament that occurs at a different time than King of the Sea.

The real trick to using the Conqueror is catching unaware opponents with AP loaded. This a genuine tactic and you will find some enemy players not respecting the AP of the Conqueror until it is too late. Do not be afraid to use both types of ammunition on the Conqueror.

First let us start off with, what ships do you like to play/feel comfortable in the most? This can go a long way to answering what you should start the season with. Just looking at the ship choices it seems that cruisers are your preferred playstyle and that is great! I would honestly recommend out of your choices the Baltimore, brings good firepower and armor for the tier. Cleveland and Bayard are also good choices if you want to go the CL route of course.

If you really want adventure, bring the Edinburgh with radar =).
