Hey Soshi,

It happens to the best of us. I would suggest after a few losses in a row to try a different tier or just get up and take a break for a bit. This will allow you to refocus and try again.

The rules I go by:

Never more than 3 losses in a row, if this occurs, take a break.


When I play again, play a ship I am really comfortable in to break the streak.


Try to division up and see if that helps. Always good to play with friends!

The Second stage of Beta Test starts today and we would like to share a list of changes, most of which are based on your feedback.

We remind you that during Beta Test, we are working –with your help– to review and evaluate the current concept of the gameplay on and against submarines. Most of what you will see is now in development. The current state of the gameplay, balance characteristics, texts, and much more may differ from what will be in the final version.

As part of the beta test, we will work with you to improve the gameplay of submarines, make improvements or changes, and prepare for the next stages of testing.

After the Beta test, which will take place over several iterations, submarines will be added to the game client as part of a separate game mode (as it was, for example, with Arms Race, Rogue Wave or Space Battles). WGC 19.6 and WGA wrapper 3.1.12 have been released with x64 support for Mac OSX 10.15 Catalina. In addition 3.1.12 should start to collect useful data on WoWs crashes.

Could you please try to make clean install of the WGC wrapper?

Rome II doesn't has water that should be rendered on the whole map :)

We have released 3.1.12 that should collect much more useful data than 3.1.11. Please update/download it and send me the same files (all data from "/Documents/Wargaming.net Games/World_of_Warships_NA/crashes" and "/Documents/Wargaming.net Games/World_of_Warships_NA/reports" folders). It should help us to detect the root cause of the issue.

WGC team has been released 19.6 version that should be OK on Catalina. But you need wrapper 3.1.12 too. So please be sure that you have updated the wrapper (WGC 19.6 will be installed automatically).

We do invitations in waves to ensure the server stability, we hope that by the end of testing as a whole we will be able to invite each applied player an invite to participate. It is important however to ensure that the server as a whole is online to allow game play rather than overloading it on day 1 with no one being able to play.

Glad to see the enthusiasm for Subs following on from the first test session.

While we're as eager to get them into your hands as you are to receive them please consider the following:

After sessions close; feedback must be collected and sorted


From this feedback, it must be determined what needs action taken


After its determined, it needs to be worked out how exactly to fix the issue / concern


Once it is worked out, it has to be implemented for testing.


QA has to occur to make sure there isn't any game critical bugs with the mechanic before release into the testing environment.

Given these items have to occur between test cycles, it can push out the time that it takes for the next testing cycle to occur. It is however (learning from the CV Rework) to do these things right than fast.

Heyo.

Please consider we do have different teams with different focuses which does allow content and development to happen cohesively. For example, you definitely don't want the bug fixers to take a stab at ship design, or say, the historical department taking the helm of balance. While production will continue on visual content (YT videos / etc), our bug teams will also be hard at work resolving issues within the game, as the community teams will continue to be here for community matters.

Have you seen for example a challenge I put out for the community for T4 ships?

We will hopefully have some other events/campaigns around these tiers in the near future.

How are we going with the sprint so far?

The save a star mechanic is definitely a "controversial" one in the eyes of the community and while we can definitely understand in certain situations why it can be, we still believe it is the best way in determining progress with players in the ranked environment. Particularly with the improvements and tweaked to how EXP is obtained since the original inception of the system.

In saying that, we are of course monitoring ranked activity and the mechanic as a whole and are open to making changes if needed in the future.

Hey Jerminat0r,

Please check to make sure your camouflage filters are enabled correctly for your carousel. I believe specifically you want to look under "historical" and then make sure "imitation" is selected as on. Make sure the eye is not crossed out. Please let us know if that helps!
