Because it allows rapid firing ships to improve DPM while spraying shells, that's why!

I appreciate your elaboration on the subject, thank you. I already explained why it was done (and repeated above). Let's wait and see the feedback from our sources/regions, to see if it's just a couple of confused player or a bigger problem, and then let's see what needs to be done (if it does).

I can completely understand where you're coming from and why your concern exists.

We definitely acknowledge that this new commander is quite unique in comparison to the existing legendary ones. We are going to see how things process with this captain and it may open the door for us looking at the other captains.

Correct; I wanted to give long reply before the discussion moved on.

I am glad that there is no hidden intention in this, because too many times I see people blindly copying "devs don't play the game" mantra they heard somewhere. Which is obvious, because many people prefer just to devalue the opponent in discussion, instead of addressing the points.

1. Every game nation has paper ships to fill in some tiers, and this if fine. RU BB has more of them, and still it has ships that were in service, and ships that were being built.

2. OP is an objective definition. An OP ship is a ship that can give a player of equal skill better results, comparing to other ships in the group. While the statistics for RU BB battle performance will be accumulated and settling for some time, as it happens with all new ship lines, for now there is no indication that they are OP.

3. Also RU BB shine when played aggressively, and they are rather bad at passive play. Just saying.

4. While definitely affecting DD play, I'm not sure that "CV plague" affects other classes experience so much, judging from what I see and my own games, too. Switching class/ship/tier is always a good option.

I do understand there are many folks still very unhappy with the rework and we are very much in favor of what adjustments need to be made to ensure balance. The Rework itself however was done in January and isn't going to be reverted. This doesn't mean we haven't listened to your concerns, nor aren't interested in improving your experience. Let us know where your biggest frustrations are and we're happy to review it.

1. It is not a nerf (did you read the description of the change, if I may ask?).

2. We do not "focus" on this, it's a small change, one of the dozens, and positioned as such in patch notes.

3. A lot of people play DD and play them well, even though DD population did drop after 0.8.0, but "noone" is a huge exaggeration.

Heyo Captains,

At this stage, the "Will to Victory" effect is only turned off for Clan Battle and Training Room formats.

While this ability is quite strong, it can only be triggered once per a battle. Furthermore, while it is an easy skill to trigger in comparison to that of Halsey and Yamamoto, unlike them, Kuznetsov only has one enhanced base skill in comparison to the 2 of the others.

We will be looking at the data following his release to see him impact.

There will be an article on the portal tomorrow with further information on the commander.

What ships do you have issues on with the change? 0.15 sec is extremely minor and in all fairness, I am not sure it even theoretically can have negative impact. Like, it's literally a quarter second change.

And it is beneficial for the cases when you have extreme RoF (e.g. rapid firing ships with AR), when it's easier to hold LMB and your guns reload faster then the full chain is fired.

Folks, we do understand this is a concern to some of you but we're going to ask you remain constructive and refrain from personal insults.

In general this is a 0.15 second change which shouldn't affect most ships, but if you do find it is significantly impacting your play experience let us know.

Please let me explain a couple of things to avoid any future miscommunication.

The thread was locked precisely for two reasons:

1. Repeated reference to other game.

2. A bit of offensive language.

I hope you understand that (1) this Forum is dedicated to World of Warships, and although we're absolutely fine with mentioning other games here and there (we're all gamers after all), it is not intended to discuss and promote other games in-depth. I can understand your perspective, and It's unfortunate you feel this way because I'm afraid that isn't reality. Anyone working in this industry knows people enjoying games spend money and there are quite a few folks who spend a good chunk of their day every day reading player feedback. That feedback is absolutely crucial to our development and process, but it needs to be paired with data and a decision made based on both.

Folks we've definitely seen concerns today about whether we are listening. We are, always. We may not respond to everything, nor make the change you wish but the team has proven time and again it will iterate where necessary and if something doesn't work in testing ,change it. A great example of this is the plane preparation time announcement we made yesterday. This change did not perform as the team liked, and was removed from the update in lieu of different adjustments.

Wargaming Premium time still works on all 3 games as it always has. Warships Premium is still available in the Armory and remember it gives a +65% experience bonus instead of the normal +50% experience Wargaming Premium gives you.

Hey SerahKhan,

With the missions that have arrived in 0.8.4. you will receive compensation in credits.

The mission for each of the ships can be obtained only once. If you receive a mission for a ship that you already have in your Port, you'll get compensation in credits for completing it, taking into account specials and discounts.

There will be more information tomorrow in a dedicated article.

The previous system of Ctrl Click to select a squad to focus on worked pre-8.0 since more than one aircraft squad could attack you at once. In post 8.0 it is unlikely to be attacked by 2 aircraft at the same time (unless its end game and you're the only target left in a 2x CV game). If that system was still implemented, it would be a case of just clicking the one incoming squad, which in itself would not be very engaging. In saying that, we have stated in a dev blog (source, point 6) that we are currently not happy with how the AA sectors work so that will be addressed soon. However changes and fixes do take time.

Interacting with CVs can be difficult, however there are methods of avoiding / mitigating CV damage such as using terrain and allies to your advantage, proper utilization of the AA sectors can also help mitigate the impact planes can you. While CVs are able to make multiple attack runs in comparison to pre 8.0, the alpha potential has been drastic...
