Clans are paid for when they are created, so clan ownership is not something easily changed. If your Clan Leader and one of the other Deputies have stopped playing, they could return in the future but that's not something you can be sure of without having their personal contact details outside of game.
You may want to look around for a new clan for yourself and those who are active in your current one.

Service Costs get prohibitive in higher tiers. That can be circumvented through experienced play, but Tier 6 and 7 has a rather low service cost associated with it.
If you have a Premium Ship, that has reduced Service Cost for the Tier -AND- earns additional credits, so snagging a Coal ship at the least can be very helpful <3

It's been quite a while since my Star Wars trivia days, but I imagine the Tie Fighters were factored in. Having short-range fighters that can deploy on your ship would provide a ready source of anti-fighter capability.

We do offer purchases in our Premium Shop and Armory, but we don't label them as "DLC". That's more of a term used on selling sites like Steam to described "added game functionality/options".
