The upgrade system works when you purchase the PS4 version, you are unable to purchase the PS5 version and downgrade at the moment.

For digital copies purchased on the Playstation store, you will be able to download the upgraded version when it becomes available by logging into your next-gen console with the account you purchased the game on.

For physical copies, you will be able to download the upgraded version when it becomes available. The disc must be inserted to launch both the current-gen and next-gen versions of the game.

Next-gen upgrades are not available for physical versions of the game if you have upgraded to a discless console. It is also not possible to upgrade from a digital current-gen edition to a physical next-gen edition.

Once you have completed the upgrade, you will still be able to play your game on your PlayStation 4.

Like I said in the other discussion,I've already changed my preorder.
I think that I've finally understood how the free upgrade works,also thanks to some videos about the upgrade of the ps3 games to their ps4 version.
If the free upgrade will work like the upgrade of Assassin's Creed IV,it will be a problem because at the moment I don't have a broadband at home,but I think that this problem will be solved before the release of the ps5.
