I keep receiving error code CE-348780-0 when I try to upgrade any of my gear. Is there a planned patch for this? Or a work-around? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, rebuilt the database from safe mode, restored licenses, transfered the game to an external hard drive & made sure both my console and my game were both updated. This is getting very stressful. I can't even upgrade gear with titanium. I've reported the error when prompted when my game shuts down, but I haven't heard back.Is there a planned patch for this? Hey there @YourLastDance, I am sorry to hear that you are running into this error message when trying to upgrade your gear. To better assist you further, are you able to provide a video of the crash occurring?

Hi @YourLastDance I'm sorry to hear that none of the troubleshooting has helped to resolve the issue with the game crashing.

Could you please try the following if possible:

  • Load your game
  • Once your save has loaded, create a new manual save then exit the game
  • Fully close the application and relaunch the game
  • Load the newly created manual save and try again


If the issue persists could you also confirm if the game is only crashing in Ravensthorpe or does it happen at any location in England or any other map in the game?

Are you able to load any of your previous saves rather than the most recent one to see if the issue persists.

You note this only occurs when your console is connected to PSN - is this still the case?

And does this issue occur with all of your other saves or are you just not able to load them at all (if the latter, do you receive an error or the same crash?)

I've already raised this to the team, but if you could let us know if there have been any further developments in this behaviour so we can let them know, it'd be appreciated.

Our development team requires some further information for their investigation:

  • Are you running the game on the latest version (v1.6.2)?
  • Are you using a physical or digital copy?
  • Are you accessing the game through account sharing?
  • Have you modified your console in any fashion before you started to experience these crashes?
  • Did you acquire the game through any of the Free Weekend promotions that happened in 2022?

To follow up to this, there is some more information the team would need:

  • How old are your consoles?


  • Do you have any possibility to use an extended storage hard disk and try to move the game and saves there and try to access the game again?
