Hi,

After some month not playing Anno 1800, I tried today to start it again to prepare for the new DLC. The screen goes black and the cursor changes to the golden Anno cursor. After a few seconds the game crashes immediately.

I already tried reinstalling the game and Ubisoft connect, but that didn't help.

I'm sorry to hear that you folks are having troubles with crashing when playing The Division 2. I'd like to help as much as I can while our team looks into these reports. Speaking of that, if you are having these crashes please make sure to send in your system files to our team at your earliest convenience.

Please note that I've seen a few other threads referencing Rapid Storage Technology as having conflicts with The Division 2. If you have the setting active, please disable it and let me know if the issues persist.

Hey there, everyone. I'm sorry to hear that this issue is occurring for all of you as well! If you haven't, I recommend giving these steps a try, as Ubi-Nacho recommended above! If you've already tried those, or they don't seem to work, go ahead and grab your MsInfo & DxDiag files. Once you have those, submit them via our Support Site, Facebook Support or Twitter Support so that we can get a better look at what's going on. Thanks!

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried this already?:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
  5. Launch Darktide as normal

Please note that this will reset any custom keybindings.

You will then need to use the ‘Verify and Repair’ option, which is accessible via the Xbox App and will ensure the installation is complete.

  1. Open the Xbox App
  2. In ‘My Library’, select ‘Darktide’
  3. Select ‘More Options (…)’
  4. Select ‘Manage’
  5. Select ‘Files’
  6. Select ‘Verify and Repair’
