@scuzzyuk @WhoIsEmmaAdams Do I believe that's adding to the network stress, absolutely. Do I believe that if we went to 2x permanently on breeding that the networks will be "just fine", no.
@scuzzyuk @WhoIsEmmaAdams I'm not going to debate with you over people that are looking at the actual network health. You don't see on the other side of the wall and what that looked like for the team.
@scuzzyuk @WhoIsEmmaAdams There's definitely some opportunity to do some of those things and it's been a part of discussions. 2x breeding will likely never be the norm just because of server perf.
@WhoIsEmmaAdams @scuzzyuk Event rates are no longer special (because they are so frequent) causing you to have to go even higher in rates to create something "special". Basically, it will continually inflate the rates. That's just my opinion based on what I know.
@WhoIsEmmaAdams @scuzzyuk I think it's a question of game design.. Games typically don't like to run boosted rates for extended durations because it diminishes the point of having regular rates. Running rates like that will just lead to people asking those to be the normal rates - repeat cycle.
