@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL Based on what? What are you basing this on?
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL I wouldn't underestimate some of the hardcore PVE breeding that goes on haha. Honestly, you don't have a way to measure that. I get that it's your gut feeling but it's also people's gut feeling that PvP has more players.
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL PvP does not have a larger player base. PVE does.
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL I agree on the balance. We have to find that right balance
@rcooke33 @JordanLaws0n There have been updates every patch dedicated to meshing. We'll continue working on it until it's not an issue anymore.
@JordanLaws0n @rcooke33 It would disable that particular method which is one of the dozens. It doesn't fix the problem. Then we get in a bad habit of removing content to "fix" an issue. Before we know it we might have to disable half the game. Removing content isn't a way to fix this
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL In terms of valuing casuals - we value all players. Hence my comment about looking at the whole pie and not just a piece. Each piece is important.
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL Money is the only way you keep a business alive to keep putting out updates/content. If the studio isn't making money, they aren't putting out updates.
@SiiiNFUL @JordanLaws0n For sure - this is something that impacts PvP more which is why I understand that part of the community is more vocal.
@SiiiNFUL @JordanLaws0n Official PvP is just one sliver of the pie (ARK). I wouldn't gauge ARK players sentiment by only looking at official pvp. My statement was more of a general one that includes all ARK players
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL Your point is noted and understood. Not sure I'll be able to offer you another perspective so it's not much more to discuss on this topic. Hopefully, you stick around :)
@Xbox_InMy_Veins I bet you do :)
@JordanLaws0n @SiiiNFUL They are still game leads because despite what Twitter/the internet might lead you to believe, there are A LOT of people still happy with ARK in its current state. There's still lots of work to do but there's a bright future.
@SiiiNFUL @JordanLaws0n I don't have the power to fix meshing. I have the power to influence the decisions, but ultimately that decision rests with the game producer and enforcement team.
@SiiiNFUL @JordanLaws0n These incidents are reviewed. It's a difference between someone defending themselves and living under the mesh.
@TimothyWolfe5 Incidents will be reviewed. This isn't a blanket ban. It's a difference between putting a turret under the mesh and a huge base
@JordanLaws0n "It's that simple". We'd just have to disagree on that one. Why would we sit on something that simple?
@JordanLaws0n It is possible to hardware ban on console. What you are explaining is universal to games in general who are trying to attack cheating. Whether it's meshing or something else. It's a constant battle.
@JordanLaws0n Other games might be built differently. I'm not saying it's impossible to fix. I'm saying with how ARK is set up technically, it's going to be a long-term battle. People always find new ways to cheat.
