Nice QoL suggestion, will add it to the pile.
Edit: We've already got this tracked but don't have an update release assigned to it just yet. Will keep you posted.

Your constant snarky responses these days are unbecoming of a dev community lead.
When you first started out in BF you were friendly, helpful and fomented a good rapport with the community. Now it’s just unnecessary sniping.
And here’s a thought related to this topic: why not start a thread listing ALL of the bug fixes that are being worked on so the players and community don’t have to spend all of THEIR time repeating bugs that you already know about. Or do YOU need a babysitter to constantly remind you of what you should be working on? Get it together.
Or do YOU need a babysitter to constantly remind you of what you should be working on?
You could always tell me what my job is, that might help. As a general rule of thumb it won't be close to the mark.
There's a reason we don't have a list of what we're working on, as that would mean opening up almost our entire JIRA catalogue and it would be next to impossible to maintain. We're working on lots of issues, with things moving around all the time.
With regards to the above, I've gone through this multiple times before. We've tried the whole "seen" "tagged" route of doing things and it didn't work. A lot of the time conversation might get duplicated and unfortunately I cannot be in all places at the same time.
My response is also not a guaranteed outcome. If there's something of value to add to the discussion, then I will try to do so. Sometimes I will make a note to say that we've seen something, but if it's here on Reddit...
Read moreThere's a couple threads and a bug report about this in the forums as well. And videos there also. Why no replies? https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/discussion/141465/hvv-respawn-issue#latest https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/discussion/141498/hvv-character-selection-bug#latest
Because I'm not going to spend all my time saying "seen" or similar. You don't need a babysitter.
This is genuinely a great writeup that encourages people to tackle things a little bit differently, welldone /u/WookieSin.
Hey folks, we're investigating this now,
Cheers!
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool...
Is there anything that I can do as a player to help? Any logs I can send you? Any information I can provide? It's really frustrating that we have to keep fighting with the game to get it working on PC constantly. This only just happened to me recently but I guess others have had it going on for months. Anything we can do to help you guys, please let us know.
Thanks for replying.
EDIT: If it helps at all, what I can tell you is that when it happens, the executable for the game seems to run initially as a sub-process of origin.exe. If it fails, that sub-process disappears and Origin just pops back up on my screen. If it works, the game's executable branches out as its own process and the game runs normally. Again, if there's any logs or screen caps or anything I can do to help you guys fix this, please let me know.
That's useful info, thanks for letting us know!
Can Hero Starfighters be part of that discussion as well please? Please remove mandatory 4v4 and even number for round to start. 2v2 would help the mode greatly.
It's already part of the discussion
/u/F8RGE Can we get a hotfix to revert this ridiculous attempt at a fix
We're aware of it, is currently being lined up to be fixed.
If I'm out of town when the event ends, but i still logged in during it (but before the goal is reached) can i get the emotes when i get back or does it all go away after the 21st?
You would need to log into the game after the point that the Community Quest has been completed. For example, IF one of the Community Quests complete on July 15th, you would then need to log into the game from July 15th - 21st in order to collect the reward.
Community participation = the Community Quests are completed quicker, thus giving the community a larger window in order to claim the reward.
The reward window for the Darth Maul quests closes on 21st July.
It's something that's currently under investigation. Afraid I don't have an actual solution or anything right now, we're still trying to create a solid repro of the problem.
u/f8rge please can this be a change for hero showdown?
We'll have the discussion.
i thought you guys got the month off?
Everyone has different vacation times. I'm around for a few days. People will come and go etc.
They really need to make them at least unfold to pick up the objective.
That's the plan, will get this sorted. Is already being tracked.
What if you can't log in by the 21st? for example, I'll be on vacation by that day, if you log a few days later will the rewards still be available?
The rewards for the Darth Maul Community Quests would be available until July 21st at 05:00 UTC.
The TX-130 was confirmed as a known issue in the release notes.
We'll take a look at the Droideka.
So everybody that plays battlefront will have the same challenge. So if I get a kill it will count for everyone?
Correct!
Is Arcade included in that? Or just online modes
Arcade mode isnt supported with the Community Quests, sorry!
Known Issues = Issues we know of that are introduced by or relevant to a given update.
