Because it feels worse than it did in the beta on PS5 right now. I love this franchise, but BF 2042 feels extremely sterile and is severely lacking all the magic of the previous entries. No destruction, no voice chat, barely any weapons, and obviously no classes.

I'm happy to see devs interacting with the community, but it usually only lasts in the run up to release, and DICE destroyed all trust with all the broken promises during BF V's life cycle. You said you were renaging on those promises to work on a this game, and deliver a "bigger better battlefield game" at the time, but my previous points show that was a lie. Three separate development studios worked on 2042. Lol. Your attitude does nothing to regain that trust. This game is last chance saloon for you, make no mistake.

I understand, I just do shaders and do some optimizations, though I don't have the info you seek. I'll relay this to the people in charge of this. Also be aware that most regular devs are still under NDA so there's a limit to how much we can talk about outside of things that are announced through the official channels. Though be aware there are a lot of eyes focused on this part of the internet.

How about saying something like "we're listening, we here you, and this is what we're working on to fix it"

He's right tho. I appreciate you taking the time to actually check the sub and comment but we just want our voices heard regarding the issues with this game. It's awfully quiet. But yeah, this post is about a different topic.

people take notice, things take time though.

Hey @DarthLord_Ultnet,

It sounds like you have two things going on.

You have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game via Steam, which gives you Early Access starting a few hours ago. See here: https://help.ea.com/help/battlefield/battlefield-2042/fight-for-your-future-in-battlefield-2042/
Early Access means that you can play the game for as long as you want, since you pre-ordered the game. Standard smile... Read more

Yes, that’s exactly what I did, I entered the settings menu from the main menu (not during the tutorial). I also force closed and relaunched the game (twice), it’s still locked.

Thanks! I had a chat with one of the UX Engineers who volunteered that we had seperate Help text posted in the Xbox Menu (my original screenshot from PC).

The tooltip on Xbox instead advises you to change your Xbox Account settings -> IMAGE

Settings -> Account -> Privacy & Online Safety -> Xbox Privacy -> View Details & Customise -> Communication & Multiplayer
