Just to confirm that we are indeed aware of this and that some peripherals plugged into the Xbox One may cause the controller to lose connectivity. We are currently tracking this as a known issue.
Hey there, we are working to address this but a good sign towards the correct version is that Xbox Series X|S will be listed on it's own under the details tab of the store product screen. (That and the size of the game)

This is really dependent on what platform you have and what you may have plugged into that platform. If you're rocking an Xbox for example, try not to use an Elite Controller at the start screen - use a standard controller. Unplugging any peripherals may also help.

Day 1 of the beta and we're already in the territory of people losing their jobs. Have you ever asked yourself why you don't have more devs interacting with players across the industry?
There's a valid way to give feedback, I don't think anyone on the team is against receiving it when it's done in a constructive way. But the amount of personal attacks I've seen in just a few hours since it went live is disappointing.
Everyone that contributes to our UI are fantastic people, super colleagues and talented developers.
Are factions map-specific? For instance, the beta map is a Pacific island, so the US faction is Marines--if it's a city siege or a forest map, would the US faction change to US Army?
I ask because several vehicles (Apache, Little Bird clone, tanks, which Marines no longer use) are Army vehicles, while others are Marine vehicles. I also noticed Dozer is a US soldier. It would be cool since the Army is never in modern BF games for some reason.
It's USA and Russia, with you playing as No-Pats on each side. The vehicles are what you'll use across all maps.
Dozer is Mexican.
Orbital is located in French Guiana, not a Pacific Island.
Y'know, you guys should one day go in-depth about the process of game development and what goes on behind the scenes for stuff like beta/preview builds and what that timeframe looks like. That'd make for a great Battlefield Briefing!
I think going deeper into how games are made would greatly benefit the industry as a whole. Does come with its own set of challenges and obstacles to overcome.
What’s with the scoreboard? I’m unable to see my deaths. Will that also be fixed for launch? It’s just pretty infuriating.
I played Conquest today in a playtest and could see my deaths, if that helps.
