Do you mean how AquilaSol has a collection of collections? You just make a collection like normal (you will need to include some random item in it). Then on each collection, you have the option to add it to a collection (next to the up/down votes and the Favorites button), which is how you add them.

Try enabling Safe Mode for the Loading Screen Mod before loading your save.

If that doesn't work, try adding the mod Save Our Saves, make sure it's enabled and that it's a fresh load (so restart the game first).

If you can post your output log (player.log on Mac and Linux), then we can have a look and see what's happening with the game. This guide explains where to find it and suggests some places you can upload it to, since we can't attach files here ...

Are you using any mods? A lot of mods are made only to run in the simulation (where you build your city) and not in the editors. A mod that isn't meant for the editor could explain why your custom map ends up broken. I recommend disabling any mods you don't absolutely need in the editor to make your map. If you don't need any mods, then using the -disableMods launch option is an easy way to do that.

You are running out of memory, which causes the game to crash. Looking at the fact that you already have an almost full pagefile of 30 GB, I recommend you unsubscribe workshop items until the crashes stop.

You can always make collections on Steam to save assets you like, which you aren't using, so you can find them again easily, if you start a project that needs them.

It's not unusual for a workshop item to contain multiple assets. Sometimes you will find a bunch of similar props, which are bundled into one item on the workshop. Sometimes it can be buildings packed together. The Loading Screen Mod counts everything that's loaded, so every item in a pack, while the workshop just lists your subscriptions to workshop items, not caring what's inside those. :)

As an exampel this is 4 buildings packed in one workshop item.

I wouldn't change the pagefiel if you don't need to - aka if the game isn't crashing with no workshop content). It's always better to stay within what you RAM can handle, even if it means living with less workshop content than you'd like.

Make sure you use Ploppable RICO Revisited since the original does not support the Green Cities specialisations. :)

If you can upload the files in the folder, which is mentioned in the pop up error, then we should be able to see why the game crashed. You can find the folder by going to Local Files through Properties for the game in your Steam Library.

Since we can't attach files here on Steam, you'd need to upload them somewhere else and link to them. This guide has some suggestions for sites you can use.

Your friend has to activate Family Sharing in options while logged in. That allows their library on that computer to be shared with other accounts.

AquilaSol has some really nicely organized collections, which are handy when searching for certain types of assets.

If you're looking for something specifically related to border crossings, then try searching that in the workshop and selecting a category. That helps narrow it down. You can also sort by most popular within a search to find the stuff used by more people.

It sounds like you have a mod, that does something every couple of seconds, which requires more work of the cpu. First such mod that comes to mind for me is the auto bulldoze abandoned/burnt buildings mods, but any mods that make a check to see if they need to do something could be the cause here.

Side Note: For myself it is all the streets lights within the city that are not working, this includes freshly started cities as well.

Probably not related to the issue, but I noticed you had some broken assets, which I recommend you fix. The Loading Screen Mod can help you find the networks you are missing for th... Read more

Oh yeah, that's what I mean. They should despawn at the edge of the map, but planes coming in to your city from the outside, should fly away again. At least that's what they did in my test.

If you want to reduce the amount of planes you have, you could always give Optimized Outside Connections a go. They should come in fewer, more full planes with that. :)

Is this a normal mechanism in Cities Skylines or does this small detail need troubleshooting?

Hmm, no arriving planes (at least passenger ones, which I just checked) should leave again. Planes can spawn at your airport, but they shouldn't just disappear when arriving from the outside. :S

It wouldn't be in the directory with the .exe file, but in the Cities_Data folder. And just so we aren't looking for something different, it's only called output_log.txt on Windows. For Mac and Linux it's player.log

Do the error folders contain any logs? Since you are getting a crash with a popup, we would want the logs from those folders instead of the regular log anyways. The error.log specifically contains some more info than the usual output log, and the output log gets copied into the error folder when it crashes.

There's a few ways to avoid it that don't require mods.

1. You can have your city be a "dead end" so there isn't a point for the traffic to go through your city.

2. You can give the traffic a way to pass your city without entering it.

3. Or you can add a little stretch of road, like in the screenshot, to let them turn around and not enter your city.

Try using the Loading Screen Mod to load in Safe Mode and check "remove all vehicle agents"

This is normal to see. The traffic you're seeing is "dummy traffic" that keep the highways looking busy. Think of it like vehicles that are just passing by on their way - they don't need to stop in your city, but if the fastest way is through your city, they will take it.
