A free update has been released for Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. With this update we’re rolling out the Stalker Trials challenge mode for PC, which will surely put your skills to the test.

All you need to do is patch your game and you can access the Stalker Trials from the main menu.

In addition we’re also adding in some quick fixes.

We 100% understand that it’s frustrating to wait. Right now we’re still working on finalizing the patch, but unfortunately we don’t have specific ETA at this time.

Once we know more, and when we have a time and date nailed down, we’ll post it to News and Announcements.

Just trying to rule out any possible issues… have you tried either checking the integrity of the game files or trying to run the game as administrator?

Does driver version 384.94 let you start the game without this issue or is it crashing too?

This error usually pops up when the hardware used to run the game doesn’t meet the minimum requirements of the game, in particular a graphic card compatible with DirectX 11 or higher. Could you let us know which are your computer specs so we can see if this is the case?

Current favorite? Since saying Conan Exiles would be cheesing it a bit, I’d go with Battlefield V (both on PC and PS4).

Currently, the only way to get this set is by looting it and it is intended that it cannot be crafted by any armorer. In the future, there’s plans for it regarding the Unnamed City. And that’s as much as we’re allowed to share about it ...

Our team is aware of this issue and has patched it in our current Testlive branch of the game, which will come to consoles at a later date.

By fresh uninstall we mean deleting the game and any saved folder it might leave behind after uninstalling.
Once you reinstall it, could you try as the error suggests and check the integrity of your game files as well? (by right clicking the game in your Steam library > Properties > Local Files) We would also suggest running a cleaning program such as CCleaner Light to clean up any registry issues that could remain in your system that could affect your game files.
