Hi @Gator4zero
Can you check the server list again and see if the server appears?
Hi @Gator4zero
Can you check the server list again and see if the server appears?
Hi @PSEROAM and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We’ve passed the issue over to the rest of the team for further investigation.
Hi @Cleopatra
Can you check now to see if the server is showing up?
Hi @EduMariano are you still experiencing this issue?
Could you try to verify the integrity of the local/installed files?
Hi @Shamashkin are you still experiencing this issue?
If yes, can you try a reinstall and see if the issue persists?
The update did not contain any new content. You can read more about the it here: 2.6.2 Epic Games Store Cross-Play Patch (16.11.2021)
Thank you for being so patient while we looked into this issue.
The correct version (2.6.2) should now appear and you should be able to download it.
If you are still experiencing this issue, please feel free to get back to us and let us know.
Not yet; today’s mini-update was mostly for backend/compatibility stuff. I’d expect the fix in the next major update. Perhaps not soon enough, but SOON, I swear
Hi there, this is a known issue currently being discussed in this topic:
We’re aware of the matter and looking into our options.
You should receive the most up-to-date version if you reinstall.
I deleted some replies, but several of the latest posts in this thread were people using binary code (01010101 etc) to hide words that would otherwise be caught in the word filter and such.
My understanding is that reinstalling the game from the Xbox App on PC should let you get the latest update. That’s the current suggested workaround, although we certainly acknowledge it’s not ideal, especially for those with data caps or slower internet connections.
Yeah, as far as we’re aware this issue is only affecting players using the version you’d get from the Windows Store (Game Pass, Xbox app on PC, etc). Last I heard, at least a few other games on this platform were also experiencing similar issues (including a newly-released multiplayer module for a shooter about big space rings and spartans).
It’s unclear at this time what more we can do on our end, but we can consider issuing a republish of the patch if it keeps up and see if that helps. In the meantime, I do apologize again for any trouble this causes.
Please don’t spam or try and bypass the word filter with ‘clever’ usage of binary code. Thanks.
Alright, thanks for the update.
We understand you’re frustrated, but please bear in mind that sometimes unforeseen issues occur that are out of our control. What you’re suggesting isn’t actually the source of the problem.
Are you still unable to get the new version without a reinstall? We haven’t seen new traffic about this issue in a few hours now.
You shouldn’t have to keep reinstalling. The new version is out, but we’re keeping an eye on whether folks are actually receiving the update normally. This appears to be affecting other Windows Store games as well, so it’s not exclusive to us at least.
Thank you for the additional information @EgoSumLupus
The team is aware of this issue and they are currently working on it. We will update this thread once this is resolved.
Greetings,
Thanks for reaching out to us. The server was probably restarting due to update 2.6.2.
Also, in the future please submit a ticket in Zendesk when it comes to server issues.
Greetings everyone,
Are you seeing this issue on the Steam or Microsoft store version of Conan Exiles?
