We’re aware of this issue. It’s not exactly what you proposed on the title, but instead it’s placeables in general have a tendency to not block the respawn of flora and fauna.
Our team is aware of it and they’re looking into that.

I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you for your input on the Poll we created to get feedback on player names being shown in logs.
We are aware that using a forum poll for this is not ideal. It will never be able to catch everyone’s opinion because not everyone who plays Conan Exiles is visiting these parts of the woods. We’re also aware that some of you were voting on server settings you most likely do not play on. We hope you understand that this is not fair towards your fellow players and makes it much more difficult for us to work with the community as a whole, which we very much would like to be able to do.
For the future, we are looking into better alternatives so we do not only have to use forum polls and will also make sure if polls are used as one means, they are better controlled in ...

We’ve gotten a similar report like this one recently. Just to make sure, and you’ve probably tried it already: can you connect to the server via the Steam friends list or via Direct Connect?
It would be ServerSettings.ini, but it is still a feature being worked at this moment and should be used at your own risk. It will be ready once we announce the final results of the poll in this thread:

Pets and thralls should not die of starvation. Once their hunger meter reaches 0, they take no damage. Some remnants of the old hunger system still remain and might give a wrong impression of starvation affecting them.
If they disappear it’s quite possibly due to other circumstances. Check the event log and see if any NPC killed them, or as @Kwalya suggests, check if they have returned home (that is, their latest guard point).

MinionDamageMultiplier and MinionDamageTakenMultiplier have not been active settings in the game since 2017. Thrall damage is currently tied to player damage, although we can send a suggestion to our devs to reconsider adding an additional setting to regulate their strength separately.
