Usually that error is related to players who get disconnected forcefully from a server and when trying to log back in, they get that error until the server “properly” disconnects their player character.

Its fun. But damn what a weird community. Multiple "dead" discords. The one being advertised here doesn't exist anymore. Just makes me feel like I started playing a dead game.
The wiki is really crappy too. You'd think information about this would be better since It's been out for a while
The "Conan Exiles fan run Discord server" is our unofficial one we use! Here's the link: https://discord.gg/mGd7BeG
It can be found on the sidebar under "Community Sites".
Damnit, i guess I'll have to deal with it
Thanks for the additional information and please remember to send those crash reports. Our team is currently looking through all them :)
Hey there,
This is a known issue and our team is working on a fix.
Thanks for your feedback.
We’re merging both threads into this one so we can proceed discussing this problem
Hey there,
Quick update: our team got back to us and informed this is not intended, so we’re proceeding to treat it as a bug. Thanks for the heads-up
4 posts were split to a new topic: Graphical issue with the game
You should try to reinstall the newest drivers for your system such as graphic card drivers, motherboard and so on and see if that helps with your issue.
Are they still decaying with those settings in?
Hey there @johnwayne
Welcome to our community.
Our team is aware of this issue and they’re working on a fix for the sliders. As @Jasonfoss mentioned above, if you have access to the G-Portal admin panel you can set that value manually for now. We’ll release a fix for it soon.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey there @Sakyubasu69
That one looks like a different issue unrelated to the one discussed in this thread. It might be a hardware issue or some conflict with the drivers you have installed in your system.
Hey @murkin
Welcome to our community and thanks for the heads-up. There definitely seems to be something strange going on with that feature. Our team is looking into it.
Hey there,
That’s a few issues thrown into the same pot. Let me go one by one:
-Regarding the no owner issue, our team has fixed it internally and it should be released in the next patch.
-Regarding not being able to see the player names in the event log, we have a poll going on now to see what settings should be set to default on official servers. We’re also working on adding those options for private server admins in the future as for the moment it’s still being tested.
-Regarding the buffer overflow issue, did you get disconnected from that server previously due to a crash or restart?
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey there @K_Jordin_S
Welcome to our community.
We’re sorry you’re experiencing issues while playing the game. Could you let us know which PS4 model you’re using to play the game? (original, slim, Pro)
Our team has been working on that one and has been fixed internally. Chests, doors, drawbridges and whatnot should not get forgetful on server restart once this fix goes live. No ETA on that yet, but it should be soon.
Mods can sometimes cause issues like this one when a patch is released and they’ve not been updated to be compliant with it.
Please make sure to keep them as updated as possible, and disable any that could be interfering with normal gameplay.
Hey @Kwalya
That is rather unfair, as that comment was just to ensure this line is present in a settings file of a server that could be affected by a myriad of circumstances outside of our control the same way we try to ensure some basic steps in other issues as general assistance. We also stated a few times in the past ...
