Thralls and pets do still benefit from buffs gained from eating (damage). However, they cannot die from hunger anymore despite their hunger bar decreasing. Once it hits 0 they should not lose any HP, that is.

So, after much pain and frustration, I realized that when calling SteamCMD you get different results depending of the appcache folder content, so if you call:

steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +app_info_update 1 +app_info_print 443030 +quit

you will have different information depending of how old the appinfo.vdf content is, which is a problem when you are trying to get information about the latest version of the application.

I ended up doing some dark magic, temporarily renaming the appinfo file to something else before call SteamCMD and then reverting to the old appinfo file (when I did not do that, I somewhat got an error on restart because not all files were matching). ...

This looks like a hardware/drivers problem. Could you let us know the specs of your laptop?
Could you also check the temperature your hardware handles while playing the game?

I’m just asking to make sure, but this is still bugged even with the latest version of the game (Stalker Trials update)?

In the future, please do not threads that are several months old. I’ll allow it for now, since this issue is still ongoing, but it would have been better for us if you made a new thread and linked to this one instead

I will relay this information back to the team. If everyone could let me know which platform they’re playing on that would be great, so we can narrow the issue down further.

We’re aware of this issue and our team is looking into it.
As a temporary workaround, make sure there is no object or terrain piece close to the altar when upgrading it.
