This is a tricky one, for sure. I’ve sent this thread back to the dev team to check if they can shed some light on it. In the mean time, have you guys verified your game install through Steam?

Hey Desteroyer!

Do you have an Oculus Rift? We got a report that this has caused a compatibility issue when trying to launch the game. If you have one connected to your PC, try disconnecting it and see if it helps

Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date and then try to re-launch the game. There are also some players who report that having an Oculus Rift connected to their PC might cause some compatibility issues, so if you have a Rift, please disconnect it:

Hey MasterBjorn

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’ll have it reported back to the developers.

Could you also go into further details about Twitch shot and Gunslinger, and I can check back with the devs and hear if it’s a bug or intended.

Sorry for the late response to this, but I’ve spoken with the devs and it’s just a bug. It’s a test screen related to the game’s anti-cheat feature for the Stalker Trials mode. Since there’s no Z800 setup in those maps they appear to have slipped past testing.

It will be fixed

Did you try @dreadman2k’s suggestion, if you have an Oculus Rift connected to your PC? Also, make sure that your graphic card drivers are up to date.

Hmm, sounds like a case of “Rubber Banding”.

Are you and your friends playing on the official servers, or are you hosting your own server?

If you are on the official servers, could you give a shot at hosting your own server and see if that fixes this particular problem? If it does, then it’s probably network related, and that could be caused by plenty of reasons (distance to the server, ISP throttling, router having issues, packet loss, …...

Dear exiles!

The day has come! Today we’re bringing a huge amount of fixes and quality of life updates to the PS4 version of Conan Exiles. We’ve done several balancing passes on NPCs and crafting costs, fixes Purges and added new Purge types, and re-balanced crafting costs. Several of the balancing changes will make the game more challenging, and if you’re a level 60 veteran you can now gain additional feat points.

Several Quality of Life Changes should make builders’ lives easier! All you carpenters, woodworkers, engineers and architects out there, let us know what you think.

A huge part of these improvements are direct results of your input and feedback. You are important and we hear and see you

So thank you so very much for being part of the Conan Exiles community. Please keep your input and feedback ...

I’ve unfortunately no idea, I guess I could ask at work on Monday, but as far as I know, it’s just a default built-in feature of Unreal/Steam, not something we added.

Regarding my tool involvement in that, all I do is to transform the two checkboxes into entries in the ServerSettings.ini file:

  m_ServerSettingsIni.SetEntryBoolean("[ServerSettings]", "IsBattlEyeEnabled", m_BattlEyeEnabled);
  m_ServerSettingsIni.SetEntryBoolean("[ServerSettings]", "IsVACEnabled" , m_ValveAnt...

I’ve been working on the Server update detection today, I tried first to use steamcmd’s “+app_info_update 1 +app_info_print 443030” parameters, but I got some very unreliable results…

There is a Steam Web API that can do that, but it is limited to 200 queries per period of 5 minutes max (associated to an API key), so there’s a definite risk of going over the limit, which means that we would somewhat need to get our own server caching the information. (Obviously we (Funcom) know when we push a new version to Steam, but we have zero control on WHEN the version is actually available on Steam, so we can’t really use this information.)

If some of you have any experience in getting SteamCMD to reliably report the last change information for an application, please tell!

Hey @SirBowen

Thanks for the reminder. This one slipped through the cracks. We’ll send the feedback to our team
