I’m sorry if my previous comments were unclear, however as I am talking about more than one update ‘in the coming months’ does not mean there will be no updates for several months.

I’ve restored the only two Transcendent items I was able to locate. I hope this helps.

Try uninstalling reshade, then proceed to delete your user_settings.config. Please be aware this will remove any custom keybindings, so you may want to make a back-up in the event it doesn’t work.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Delete the user_settings.config

NOTE: If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the error to resurface. You can disable Steam Cloud Saving for Darktide via the Steam client by:

  1. Navigate to your Steam library
  2. Right-click Darktide
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
  5. Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’

Hello! Have you tried changing your chosen display via the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu?

It is a bit of a shot in the dark admittedly, and more work needs to be done to eliminate these errors on our end. However, the solutions in the article linked below may help in this case:

It looks like a corrupted installation to me. Please use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Basically some information on what we are working on currently for updates in the coming months

I appreciate it’s been a bit of time. But I am aiming to have a short high-level vision statement out this week to give some understanding of what we are working on for the upcoming updates!

All done for you.

It looks like you’re having an issue with the Visual C++ Redistributables. Please:

  1. Uninstall the Visual C++ 2019 Redistributables
  2. Reinstall the Visual C++ 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 Redistributables: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn
  • You may be prompted with an option to repair, as opposed to install. In which case, you may proceed with the option to repair

Thank you for the response, it makes me more confident separating the button input will work for you.

I’ll make them work separately and you should be getting a fix with the next big patch

All buttons should work, however if one of the buttons are held it will block the input from the other ones. The problem seems to be the game thinks you are holding one of the other buttons.

I’ll make them work separately and you should be getting a fix with the next big patch

Should all be sorted now - let me know if you have any problems!

Sorry about that! This is a known issue of ours but we’ve not yet been able to replicate it on our end!

Our refunding system works a bit strangely – I have to refund the entire sets, and then re-add the items you had purchased previously.

Could you make sure all items from both sets are unequipped and let me know once done?

I apologise for the complete radio silence when it comes to this error, it’s not acceptable and I will make it my mission to share more consistent updates with you all.

I had a promising chat with our producers last week and I’m pleased to say we’ll be ramping up our investigative efforts.

Please continue to share your experiences and logs, and also include your region and name of ISP as this really helps us out.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Yep! I haven’t yet, but will eventually.

Changed to Venom-Snake, as we can’t do underscores.

I will advocate for this :crossed_fingers:

For sure! I think it’s important to put any personal bias and emotion aside when communicating externally, which doesn’t always come naturally when you’re so passionate about what you’re doing. I was much more emotionally-charged when I started out at Fatshark, and quickly learnt what it was like to be humbled by the community. It’s an important lesson to learn.

As a side note, we might as well have a dedicated HD2 section at this point :joy:

Whew! Starting out strong

I can imagine they’re in the thick of it, and sometimes people don’t always respond well under that amount of stress - I know I personally have said something outrageous during challenging times, at least once during my six years at Fatshark.

I was hired wayyyyy after that. WoM was in 2019, I came on in late 2021.

Strawhat is right though, there’s definitely things cooking, and the Darktide comms team will hopefully be able to share things soon once it has a nice sear on it (if I can continue to use the food analogy).
