Hmmm I can only see a 525 Catachan Mk III Combat Blade with 3/4 Lacerate and 4/4 Riposte. Is that it?

I’m having some trouble locating your account, could you share your Fatshark account name with me?

Flash missions ended up being reworked into a few different things such as Maelstrom missions!

Here are the patch notes for Patch #15: The Traitor Curse Part 1 which just went live on Steam and will be out shortly on the Microsoft Store.

Mission: Mercantile HL 70-04
Wyrmwood reports indicate that the Moebian VI have set up a base of operations in the Carnival. What's more, they are using some of the more disreputable areas of Mercantile HL 70-04 to produce stimms and distribute them out to the rest of the Hive. Get in there and recover samples we can analyse for traces of the Blight.

Dev note: This mission will be available on the mission board 1-2 hours after the patch release.

Not sure how much I should trust the callstack in the crash, but it is seriosly wrong.

Note that a material and mission is not related at all, so feels like either I get bogus data or that your binary is broken.

That’s very strange. Could your Anti-Virus/Firewall be quarantining/blocking anything relating to Darktide?

Comment

Sorry to hear that. Are you able to connect your PC to a mobile data hotspot, to see if the issue persists whilst under another connection?

I understand this isn’t always an option, but it can help in isolating the issue to the network or PC.

For experimental purposes, are you able to connect your PC to a mobile hotspot?

Only for a short period, to see if the issue persists. This can help in isolating the issue, but I understand it isn’t always an option.

I’ve shared your update with our Engine Developers, apologies.

This is unusual, as we haven’t seen this error in a while! I’ve raised this with our Backend Engineer.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know what’s worked for you, albeit temporarily. We’ll look in to it.

Could you share the URL to your Steam profile please?

This is a very unusual crash! Could you see if deleting your AppData works to resolve this?:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the ‘Darktide’ directory

You then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option via Steam:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Could you please try launching Darktide directly via the .exe (as opposed to via Steam), and screenshot any errors that appear?

The path to the Darktide.exe should look similar to this: Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries
