It should now be included in our most recent patch, so this workaround should no longer be necessary.

 we’re looking in to this. Could you tell me which mods you’re using please?

Patch #14 contains the second part of changes based on community testing that we’ve had with select members of the community the past 2 months, and adjustments to live issues that have appeared.
We once again want to thank the community members for their continued help with improving areas of the game that need extra attention.

We could not post all the patch notes here so make sure to head to our forums to check out {LINK REMOVED}part 1 (same notes as presented here, the most important ones, if you will), {LINK REMOVED}part 2 (weapon balancing details) and {LINK REMOVED}part 3 (weapon balance details continu... Read more

These rewards are, unfortunately, limited to the Pre-Order Beta exclusively. :frowning:

This is a known crash and will be resolved in our upcoming patch, however, you should be able to work around this by deleting your AppData:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the ‘Darktide’ directory

You may then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option via Steam:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Please disable the Overwolf overlay.

Sorry to hear that. For reference, it looks like it was a driver-related crash.

This is mod-related, but I’m not sure which one.

This is an offline only problem that unfortunately was introduced with the hotfix. We needed the hotfix out ASAP for console so the patch didn't get the amount of testing it usually does. This is fixed internally and we'll have a patch out later this week. I'm sorry for the inconvenience

Hm, are you using the ISP ‘Starlink’?

We will need to conduct an investigation on this, which can take some time unfortunately. With that in mind, I’m happy to assist with a refund.

Could you try deleting your Darktide AppData? Please keep in mind this will reset your keybindings:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
  5. Re-launch as normal

Please use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client using the instructions below:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

I’m looking in to this but want to make sure I have the correct account - could you share your operatives names with me please?

Also, I’ve learnt that “The Darktide game is required.” is always shown, so we can ignore that.

If you’re not receiving the Aquilas, that’s something we need to look in to.

im in discussion with Intel to see if they have some insight in this.

This sounds a bit odd, but could you try disabling ‘Portrait Rendering’ via the ‘Settings’ → ‘Interface’ menu and see if that reduces the rate at which you error?
