Yes! We weren't able to reproduce the bug on internal builds for various technical reasons, so it was difficult to identify the fix. After many hours, I managed to track it down and the fix will be in the next update. I'm sad that this made it out to the public, but the fix should see us not have this happen again! Thanks for the message :)

Currently the forums are down and we do not have a timeline for them to come back. As you have indicated, we are currently working to figure out community staffing and resources. Community engagement and management is extremely important to us, and we are not going to rush a hire to fill a spot. We want the right person for the job.

While we are looking for that person, we are not able to provide the level of focus that is required to keep the forum operating at the level that we expect for a community experience. We are also evaluating whether or not the forums foster the best and most productive conversations.

I can speak to the audio bug a little. A fix is going out for that in the next update. A performance improvement went out that was causing consoles to potentially run out of memory in a rather... 'ungraceful' way, if you had a certain arrangement of people in the city/islands. We weren't able to reproduce it in the studio on development builds, even after we started getting reports on live, so it made fixing it challenging. I tracked it down and we've fixed it thankfully, sorry it made it's way out to you.

Hey!! First off, thank you for writing this all out. I can tell you're really passionate about Dauntless & want us to get better. I love that. Secondly, I totally understand your frustrations, and I know that (to the above point) that they are coming from a place of love for the game.

I wanted to take a second to explain that although we added content this patch, we are also continuing optimization work as well as bug fixing! It's not one of those things where we can only work on one and not the other, if that makes sense. Trials had some unexpected bugs during launch, and you're totally correct to call those out! We are hard at work to fix those bugs, as well as the other known issues. The leaderboards also have some bugs that we are ironing out changes for in 0.9.1. In the meantime, we are actively removing bugged hunts from the leaderboards.

As far as the Trials version of Nayzaga goes, it is not a new boss per say, but rather a modded up version of the exi...

Loadouts should of been a day 1 implementation for any game like this. I started in beta, took a long break, came back about 1-2 weeks ago. Blew my mind there were still no loadouts.

Loadout presets are a huge want & are coming in 0.9.2 <3

Its great and all that you guys converse with the community and are trying, but that only helps for so long if nothing changes.

I totally understand the frustration. We are working on fixing the bugs, and i am happy you're holding us accountable for that!
