Hey! The 1st month had a title, the 2nd month does not. Sorry for the confusion!

We are working on a hotfix right now that will go out before the weekend to address the bugs that were introduced in 0.9.0! <3

This issue is being investigated so that we can stop it from happening at all. In the meantime, we are removing bugged hunt times from the leaderboards manually <3

Oh no!! I am sorry to hear that. Will look into this for ya!

Hey <3 We are currently working to fix the bugs introduced with 0.9.0 and will have a hotfix out before the end of the week!!

Yes, there is a nasty bug that went out in the latest patch. We couldn't reproduce it in the studio, even when reports came in once it went live. However, I managed to track down the cause and have put out a fix that will be present in the next update. Hopefully the update goes out sooner rather than later, I'd love to see this gone ASAP!

I would like them to prioritize fixing this along with the audio glitch. A shame this has been in the game for as long as it has been. Scarier yet, how long it may continue to be in the game.

On the plus side, I'm racking in some serious rams with all these fraudulent injury claims I'm hitting the behemoths with so there's that...

Hey!! The audio glitch bug is being fixed in a hotfix this week <3

We are talking internally about how to use Rams in different ways!

I don't want 0.9.2, I want 0.9.1 to work and also some form of assurance that 0.9.2 won't just break everything ... AGAIN.

We have pushed out the 0.9.1 patch and instead are making 0.9.1 a hotfix to correct the issues introduced with 0.9.0!

Hi Bunheadwhat, this is a nice sentiment. But: My friend, my wife and myself have all bought your game pass twice to support the game. We’ve put up with time out after timeout on Xbox so that we really only spend half our time in the game playing the game if that. We’ve had major problems with frame rate and lag that have made server side hit detection feel unfair - though this may have improved recently.

Still we currently have a game that isn’t working half the time, we are playing in silence, and wondering why we are spending time and money this way. We were optimistic about this patch but overall the game is worse than it was before.

Can you give us some indication as to when we will be able to reliably play the game we have paid for (it’s not free)?

Can you give us some insight into the teams philosophy/approach- it seems like you don’t prioritise ensuring the game works over meeting a timeline. Like you just plan to fix it later, do you have as little...

Hey again! First off, thank you for supporting our game. It is clear that you love it and want us to get better, and I thank you for that.

We have pushed out the planned 0.9.1 patch and instead are putting out a hotfix before the end of the week to address the audio glitch issue, the FPS cap issue and the Trials bugs. Our philosophy is that we want to connect gamers around the world through Dauntless, and our approach to these bugs is that we acknowledge that this patch introduced bugs & we are pulling together a hotfix to correct that <3

And thank you for the communication. Despite all the screaming, a lot of slayers here are in your corner because we want this game to evolve and last.

Thanks, I appreciate it and I know people usually complain because they want what's best for the game. I understand people's frustrations and we want people to enjoy their time, so it sucks when bugs make their way out to the public.

Any updates on the audio issue? If not can you at least update the server status to indicate degraded performance on consoles? This bug had driven me to the point where I'm no longer willing to restart the game just to have sound, so I plan to complete my 2 boosted patrols then quit the game for the day until my boosts reset the next day.

Yes! We weren't able to reproduce the bug on internal builds for various technical reasons, so it was difficult to identify the fix. After many hours, I managed to track it down and the fix will be in the next update. I'm sad that this made it out to the public, but the fix should see us not have this happen again! Thanks for the message :)

Hey /u/aodangaming --

I appreciate you taking the time to make this post.

Currently the forums are down and we do not have a timeline for them to come back. As you have indicated, we are currently working to figure out community staffing and resources. Community engagement and management is extremely important to us, and we are not going to rush a hire to fill a spot. We want the right person for the job.

While we are looking for that person, we are not able to provide the level of focus that is required to keep the forum operating at the level that we expect for a community experience. We are also evaluating whether or not the forums foster the best and most productive conversations.

I know that you are fond of the forums and enjoyed extended conversations there. However, I wou...

I can speak to the audio bug a little. A fix is going out for that in the next update. A performance improvement went out that was causing consoles to potentially run out of memory in a rather... 'ungraceful' way, if you had a certain arrangement of people in the city/islands. We weren't able to reproduce it in the studio on development builds, even after we started getting reports on live, so it made fixing it challenging. I tracked it down and we've fixed it thankfully, sorry it made it's way out to you.
