We took in some community feedback and applied it to give them a far more realistic appearance. You can almost smell the fresh air. 🌳

Julian from our team has been improving the retroreflective shading model that #DeadMatter uses to enhance navigating with limited light sources.
This will help players to explore and drive at night, detect imminent danger, or even spot other survivors. #indiedev #indiegame
We recently made some changes to the skin-shader for the survivors. 👨🦲
In overhauling the skin material itself, our characters now utilize virtual texturing to bring out some of the finer details that are present in the scan data. Read more: #DeadMatter

We don't want to hammer you over the head with new assets, but our prop artists recently made some useful base-construction tools. 🛠️
A fine patina was important on these as one would be hard pressed to find a brand-new tool while scavenging homes in the end of days. #DeadMatter
