This tends to happen around Events I'm afraid, it's most likely due to the amount of people that want to play killer due to the increased bloodpoint gain they have. And of course players switching roles to get the Crowns on their killers as well.

In the case you're describing, if it was clear that you didn't want to farm and it did become griefing, this can be bannable. I'm not 100% as there isn't a lot of information in your post about what happened. If you experience future instances in which it is clear you want to play the game, but someone is forcing you to farm or you're forced to do all gens on your own to be able to leave, this can be considered griefing.

For everyone else: Farming can quickly become griefing if not everyone wants to farm - tread carefully when you farm, as you might end up ruining the game for other people as it's not a fun thin... Read more

They did specify it will happen over 7 days: "As a thank-you for celebrating with us by playing Dead by Daylight, over the first 7 days[/b[ of the event we’ll be giving away a total of 9,000 Iridescent Shards per player just for logging in"
This means they'll be given over the course of 7 days, not at once. You can read the full thing here: https://deadbydaylight.com/en/news/5th-anniversary-limited-time-event

It should be the same as Lunar Toolbox, which would be 32 charges.

The team is investigating multiple reports of error messages, loss of Bloodpoints, items from the Bloodweb, and Crowns obtained in matches. Thank you for your reports and we'll provide you all with an update ASAP!

If you are still having issues, please restart your game.
Thank you.

Right now they're still investigating what's causing the issues on the RDP map, but it's enabled for usage in custom games. Due to that though, there is a slim chance you might encounter it in a live game, but it's not guaranteed.

All that the symbol shows is that they are on a different platform than you, so they could be Windows Store, Xbox, Switch, Stadia or Playstation - as they're able to chat (and presuming you are on Steam) that would mean they are playing from Windows Store or Stadia (I believe Stadia users can also use the in-game chat).

Players from Xbox/Playstation/Switch cannot use in-game chat even with K&M plugged in.

The map is currently available in Custom Games and there's a very small chance that it will appear on the public live games - but this is a very small chance. However, offerings to take you to this map, will not work as they have been disabled, you can still collect these offerings in your bloodweb though.

We do not have an ETA on when this map will return into regular rotation as we need to assess the stability of it before that happens.

The skill based matchmaking system is currently collecting backend data of matches. The "killer lock" was put in place in preparation of this match making system being implemented into the game...it means that the game doesn't require an update to implement/test it and can be done via our systems only.

As the matchmaking is done per killer, it prevents players from queueing with a killer they may be weaker on, getting matched with players of that level and then switching to one of their stronger killers.

Nothing to do with "laziness" but more to the point that the game is now cross platform, it's important to see what bugs affect what platforms as this can be different, and that we have our own Forums which we choose to utilize.
