I will close this thread now, the issue with Win 7 users is resolved and you should be able to play without any issue. Thanks for all the help.

As I said, if you are having other issues not connected to this one (as this was a specific Win 7 issue) then please post on the Official Forum to receive technical support there.

I'm specifically looking into an issue with Windows 7 in this thread, as those are the people affected by this specific issue. If you have any other technical issues, please post on the Official Forum for assistance.

As an FYI, those that are on Win 7 with this issue, please restart Steam and try again - let me know if the issue is now resolved. Thank you.

@moonwalker I believe that this issue is directly connected to Win 7 users...so if you're on Windows 7 and having this problem please use the link I put in the above post and send me your log files, thank you.

Hi...I'm going to need your log files on this, and what operating system are you using please.
You can get your log files here:
1. Press Windows Key + R to bring up "Run".
2. Type this in the "Run" prompt: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
3. The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file. Please attach it in your reply.

Any problem uploading these, you can either upload on the thread that my colleague above linked or contact me directly.
