This week at Bungie, we enjoyed a weekend of watching Guardians take on the Taken King once more and we’re now back at it with a matchmaking update and more pirate puns.  
Watching you all take on King’s Fall this past week has been incredible. For many, this was a welcome return bringing with it feel-good nostalgia with a challenge-y twist. For others, this was their first shot at experiencing a part of Destiny's history for themselves. Regardless of where you fall on that spectrum of players, there’s one thing that we can all agree on: jumping puzzles are the bane of our existence, and if those hilarious (and often failed, in my case) attempts aren’t a fireteam bonding moment, we don’t know what is.

That was just a small sneak peek into Destiny 2’s next expansion, Lightfall. Like the inevitable lightning that follows storm clouds, Arc 3.0’s time has finally arrived. In 2022, the original trio of elemental subclasses that power Guardians in Destiny 2 have been undergoing a major overhaul. Void was the first subclass to get the “3.0” treatment with the launch of The Witch Queen expansion. Season of the Haunted welcomed Solar 3.0 and, soon, it will be time for Arc-wielders to receive their upgrades. The Destiny 2 development team has been hard at work on this subclass revamp, making sure that the new version of the Arc subclass brings the thunder.
Having lead subclass redesigns with Void and Solar, the team has spent a great deal of time zeroing in on essence of what a subclass revamp is all about: making sure that every aspect of gameplay and every ability and feature fits into the player fantasy. As we near the end of Season of the Haunted, we want to pause a moment and look around at all of the beautiful, albeit somewhat spooky at times, artwork that brought the universe to life. Solstice 2022

• Fixed an issue where players couldn't unlock the appearance of the Solstice armor sets to transmog.
• The beacons are lit, fashion calls for aid!
• Fixed an issue where players couldn't reobtain armor from Eva Levante (Space Grandma) if armor has been dismantled after completing the step where players need to speak with her, post-equipping.
• Fixed an issue where players weren't receiving the Seashore Pack at the Eververse store. 
• Players can now grab their loot from Cryptarch. 

Investment

• Progress accelerators are now in place for players completing Solstice Event Challenges on second and third classes (Titan, Warlock, and Hunter, for any new players).

• Sever
• Altar of Sorrow 
• Nightmare Containment

• Added weekly rotating modifiers to the Bonfire Bash activity.

• Fixed an issue where this year's Solstice armor ornaments displayed a purple hue, rather than a blue one, when using a Stasis subclass.
• Fixed an issue where the Dream Work origin trait would activate for other weapons, allowing overflow for all gear equipped.
