Hello,
yes - i understand what you mean now. But this is actually intended.

The map is just a world file, it does not include the configuration, the configuration is global for the server with which the world is being run. You can change these settings at any time in the /steamapps/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/configs directory. Difficulty can be found in the Difficulty.eco. Meteor Time you can find in Disasters.eco.

The reason for that is that singleplayer pretty much is a server and on servers you only host one world at any given time, otherwise you need a second config directory. Implementing the settings into the savegame might be something to think about, but it would be hard to do it in a way so only singleplayer is affected, as admins might want to change stuff on their servers while the game is running in the old school way.

If you want to play with one of the earlier settings on a different map, you can ever change the configs before booting the ser... Read more

The highest naturally generated block at any given position. Not to be confused with water level.

The setting was moved to Mods/AutoGen/Plant and has to be set for each plant you want to adjust.

Hello,
we do not have an option to turn this off yet, but there is an issue on our bugtracker about it.

Not a known issue, but some AV softwares tend to block internet connection for Eco or other stuff every now and then, not much we can do, those companies are not very cooperative.

Streaming on the test server is not yet allowed, so that won't net results that could be posted here.

We don't have a ETA yet, but the blogs can't be taken to calculate it, they'll just continue after a possible release as well.

Eventually, for now you can just extend the range by placing something that requires power, like a Street Lamp.

Why shouldn't it work?

Well, i can understand this can be partly frustrating, as we both agree that this is not how it should work from a game-design point, but it's technically not broken and the amount of work required to change the whole system for such little benefit is just a bad trade-off at the current time of lots of stuff that is more important.

It's just a current technical limitation, but inside coding it works as intended, hence it's not a bug.

That's actually working as intended. We're sure looking into it at some time, but it actually works as it is supposed to work, as maps aren't 3d. It's nothing to expect anytime soon, though, just to be honest.

Grass does recover if you are not regularily walking on it.
