Actually that's not true, Puzzles were mandatory at the beginning but we had a lot of feedbacks that some people doesn't like puzzles and instead of making them mandatory we decided to make it an incentive for powerful gears.

Hello, magic on Daryon is useless, we have generated crystal patterns with an algorithm that put a bit of everything on all crystal patterns but afterward we make a second pass to correct them manually, we know that some weapons still have mag stat with Daryon but we plan to fix that.

If you saved after the bug occured the first time the save is softlocked, you can send it to me on the EOE Discord (Kaldorei) i can fix your save for you

Hello, saves will be compatible but there will be warning telling you that it's better to start a new game for the best experience.

Bugfixes and adjustment:
  • Added multi loot system, loots are not constrained to two loots anymore
  • Bonus objectives are now additional loots and does not replace the creatures loots anymore
  • Reworked bonus objectives loot tables (removed weapons and armors loots, increased by a lot chances to have a crystal to give you more crystals for crystal merging)
  • Reworked haste stat it now decrease the ATB cost of an action
  • Fixed a softlock case when a bonus objective was generating a bonus weapon loot (was causing softlock in the junkyard and at multiple places)

Hello, i don't know for the second one but for the first we removed the lighthouse it is postponed to a post launch update with a full revamp.

Hello, the polish is done through the multiple patches that we are pushing right now.

About the issues you have it would be super helpful to have a list of those things that bothered you so we can know what to prioritize.

For the cutscenes there is a general polish in progress that is live for Chapter I / II / III cutscenes since it was done at the beginning of the dev so we made them at the same level than the others but those cutscenes are animated by hand by two animators, it's not comparable to any 3D AAA games where it's 30/40 animators with motion capture support it's not possible for us to reach that quality with the quantity of cutscenes that we have (more than 2 hours of cutscenes).

About the crashes last week we had 2374 sessions of 1h+ of gameplay, on those we had 7 crashes (crashes are auto logged) and most are due to graphic driver loss (probably GPU overheating) or HDD unavailability only 2 of them are real Unity crashes so i think the gam... Read more
