It's interesting to see the results so far. So keep on voting :) One recurring piece of feedback—mentioned even by those with a positive view on the changes—is the outdated rock textures and assets. This concern was frequently raised during the PTS cycle as well. While graphical updates are always welcome, the fact that nearly every base game map is filled with rocks makes these improvements a lot less noticeable than they could be. I still find it very strange that they still use the pre 2015 assets for these, while there have been a massive improvements of these assets since the Wrothgar DLC. @ZOS_Kevin Has this feedback been considered for future zone reworks? Or is it something that’s firmly off the table?

One thing that would really invigorate the game is updating the character creator and character models to look better. Ten years ago, ESO looked great compared to other MMO. Skyrim character creator was state of the art and ESO gave similar results. Today, there isn't enough diversity in character models. My opinion is that characters all look gaunt and skinny, and its hard to differentiate different races. Even if you max the sliders, your character stills looks pretty svelte. Has there been any talk of this? I think this would go farther than any other upgrade. NPCs could all use the old models, but player characters deserve special treatment.

Thanks @ZOS_Kevin for this explanation. Although, I just feel like the "technical limitations" have been an excuse for so many things... At this point, if ZOS plans to keep updating the game and if it remains cost-effective, is it even being considered to switch to a new engine?

Gonna piggyback off of this because I see suggestions like this from time to time and I do think context and scope are required when talking about a new engine. And please bear with me because this might be a bit long and I am not an engineer. First, I want to acknowledge that it is frustrating to hear that a feature wanted is not available currently because of a technical limitation. It is frustrating for us too. Console players will have access to Update 45 on March 26.

Thanks for the update here. The team is aware and Monster Mask curation for Lep Seclusa and Exiled Redoubt should also be fixed in an upcoming incremental. We have also updated the known issues list.

The converted disguises (now costumes) were added to the same costume category because that is how they function now. And we will refer to them as costumes moving forward. Understand the thought of breaking them out into another section, but we would likely run into naming convention issues, and building out new parts of the UI for something that is the same section, just called something different. But the main point being that they function as costumes now and should be in the same section not only function, but player clarity as well.

For what it's worth, we do our best to ensure that all really critical info is mirrored here as well as on our official social media channels. We aim to reach our players where the majority are, when outside of the game. (And consider preferences for social media versus forums versus Reddit, etc.)

Thanks for the feedback here, @ImmortalCX. We are going to pass this on to some of our teams who are working on making the returning player experience a bit better. We have some things in the works for this, but your feedback here is very helpful. Also thanks to those who have chimed in so far to offer help and feedback to ImmortalCX. Your feedback on how you tackle returning to Tamriel is also very helpful.
