Can confirm, I did loads of medium and high conflicts on foot, but did not get the invite until I started knocking out low conflicts, after a squad mate told me that only lows count towards the engineer invite.
/u/frontier_support u guys should update the engineer blurb for Hero Ferrari to make it more clear that people need to do low CZ, so we are not wasting our own time.
We're happy to pass this on, but we would appreciate it if you pass this on too, from your guys end!

Hello CMDR, Elite Dangerous for Mac is no longer officially supported, you may be able to get it to run but there's no guarantees of this. You may have more success with trying it via Bootcamp but we can't say for sure how this would perform.

Thank you! I had already submitted a ticket but have now rectified the matter to the automated reply.
It just sufficed to go into my Internet Options from Windows and clear my Temporary Data and Website Data (Internet Options > General > "Delete..." button). The solution was very much buried in a forum post but it should be useful to other CMDRs facing a similar problem.

I am having the same exact problems as the OP. There is not a link to open a case at that website. What is interesting is there is a "Turrets Assigned 0/2" and "Utilities Assigned 0/1".
UPDATE: Found the problem. My friend had to map his Multi-Crew Primary/Secondary Fire, but then they wiped out his "Weapons/Primary Fire" and "Weapons/Secondary Fire".
This seems like a real problem. Thoughts u/frontier_support?
I know there were some issues recently with players multicrew/firegroup binds being wiped, but this is odd that it would be specifically a specific binding. Very odd!

I just checked the issue description as well as other contributions in there, it is another issue. I have experienced that too, and added my own comment + video.
Furthermore, I have created the issue for this specific problem:

Personally I believe it's an LOD problem, when you place a settlement / planetary station, you alter the regular terrain generation, that might work in most cases, but it seems to be some sort of conflict at close (higher details) LOD levels. Just my opinion.
