Playable yes, but this has not been tested, and bugs/strange behavior is always more likely when playing saves on older versions. So we always recommend starting a new game, or making back ups.

General PSA, we're looking to release a hotfix addressing the Call to Arms bug, as well as some common Crashes later this week, on Wednesday assuming nothing breaks/changes before then.

In the mean time, if you wish to revert back to 1.37.2, detailed instructions on how to do so can be found here[forum.paradoxplaza.com]. The TLDR version is you can do so in steam via Properties > Betas > 1.37.2

Hello! This is a known issue related to users' anti-virus software detection. We're working on a fix for this ASAP but in the meantime, disabling and/or adding an exception for the EU4 application should be an effective workaround. Hi there! Apologies for the hassle, this is a known issue.

It's very much intended everyone with the sub should gain instant access to any dlc. Some people are reporting it seems to get fixed for them automatically after a brief period of time. I'd recommend checking back in later, if you are still having issues feel free to follow up.

However do note that if your steam wallet is empty steam will automatically use funds from other payment methods you attached to your account.

Free features still come with each update, so I would highly recommend it! Though some people still enjoy playing on older versions which is also valid.

When 1.37 and the DLC with it launch, free features (1.37) and paid (Unnamed DLC) features will be separated into 2 different sections in the patch notes.

Hey there! Making an entire map mod is a very ambitious undertaking, so I would personally recommend making some smaller mods first if you haven't already just to dip your toes in.

As far as resources for where you can learn how map modding works, https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Map_modding covers the basics, if you are struggling with it (Which is understandable as like I said it is a very ambitious undertaking) I can recommend joining a discord server focused on modding so you can have some real time discussions with folks who might be able to explain it better.

If this is an issue you're having with only EU4 and other programs are working correctly, I'd suggest a reinstall, including deleting the files located in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV
