It's actually Steam that decides where it goes. I just say it's a game update - then Steam puts it where it think it fits

It's a main announcement, same as always :)

However - Steam is using a moderation system which delays it being pushed everywhere at once

There is a hotfix seeking to adress some of the weird naval calculations coming very soon (Along with some other fixes)

Try deleting the 'disabled_alerts' line of your settings.txt file - let me know if that helps

There seems to be issues with the settings.txt file in the user directories of some players (the directory that sits in your Documents folder, if on Windows - where your setting and save files are). Some people are reporting success with deleting the 'disabled_alerts' line of that file.

Otherwise try deleting the user directory, or at least changing the folder name so that it's "backed up" - and see if that makes a difference.

Give either of these methods a try and let me know if it helps!
