Just to be clear: you have satisfactory performance in other respects, but would like to see higher fps numbers? That's your goal here?

Does this extend to CK3, Stellaris, HOI4 and CK2 also? Or just EU4?

And, has this always happened since you've had this game/these games? Or it/they were okay up to some point?

Well, my first thought is that 60 fps is just fine for a non-action game like this!

Or do you see other symptoms of worse performance, such as slow time passing or jerkiness in the maps?

And have you checked CPU and GPU temperatures in the game?

It's certainly possible, that has happened in the past with this game. Not for some years though, in general.

Hello everyone! I’m Kuba, Release Engineer & Interim QA Coordinator here at Paradox Tinto and today I’d like to talk about some known issues and our plan for upcoming weeks.

After making 1.35.2 and following the hotfix, we addressed most of the pressing issues that could negatively impact your gameplay and could be prepared and tested in the time we had available. That being said, we are not yet done with improvements and bug fixing, as there are issues that are brought up by the community in the forums [forum.paradoxplaza.com]as well as discovered by our internal testing. The following list is the Known Issues to let you know that we are actively working on fixing these.

Most likely sometime in June, it will depend on the scope of the testing for the changes.

We actually have more information about this patch coming out later today :)

A lot of good tips in this thread already, I think having a backround in other PDX games is a big help and might make things click easier. Even then everyone learns at their own pace so my personal advice is to play for fun and try to avoid a mindset of if you have "Done well".

I will shamelessly plug our player resources[pdxint.at] post as well, some of the resources there may be useful if you're trying to learn the game. Good luck and hope you can find some enjoyment out of the learning process itself :D
