Greetings! Our team is working on the updates. The extended downtime will take a little longer than estimated 45 minutes. Sorry for any inconvenience. I will keep you posted on the progress!
Spoke with the team today - a fix is in the works. Will give you guys more details when I know when it’s going live.

Thank you for your patience. We need a bit more time to do a round of testing and ensure that everything is working as intended.

Greetings,
There will be an extended downtime on Tuesday, 19 May commencing at the standard 11:00 UTC when we will make further improvements to our network infrastructure.
This process should take between 30-45 mins and we expect Tranquility to back accepting connections by 11:45 UTC at the latest. As always, we will keep you updated on the progress in this thread and via EVE_Status Twitter.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.
For those having issue submitting support tickets via the web site, please send an email to [email protected] which will also create a ticket.
You shouldn’t need to worry about having to put in a support ticket. Since this has affected a lot of people at this point a fix will likely be global for everyone who is impacted.
If it’s still in your redeem queue it should be safe to redeem it now. The fix yesterday prevented it from going to inventory for those that haven’t yet redeemed it.
Just talked to the dev team - seems like your intuition there is likely correct here. The fix that was just deployed was to prevent the SP from being contracted to avoid further complicating the issue.
The final fix for those of you who are missing this SP is still being discussed and is anticipated to come early next week.
I’ll do what I can to keep you guys up to date on this.
They’re still working on it, I’ll give you details once I can get them.
Morning everyone - they’re working on deploying a fix as we speak. It needed a server reset though so it had to wait until downtime. I’ll give you more details when I have them shortly.
@Sumlayen_Chanlin & @Kalindian_Aurgnet: Please update your support tickets with fresh traceroutes (or create new support tickets if the previous ones have already been closed).
And please namedrop me in the support ticket since I want to see the details.
No, we at CCP did not. It is very literally a change that WOW! and Cloudflare made on 13 May at 06:00 UTC. I’ve since heard that fix broke again.
There will ALWAYS be a report. It’s a check on our power.
Long-lived TCP connections against a real-time simulation on the one hand and short-lived HTTPS connections to a website on the other hand are two very different things.
EVE is very frugal on network bandwidth but doesn’t tolerate well packet loss, excessive latency or timeouts, since the universe simulation has moved on. Also see my comment above about issues Virgin Media users in the UK have had.
I never said it was your ISP, as I have repeatedly stated there is a verified network routing issue ...

We here at CCP have tirelessly been keeping WOW! and Cloudflare updated on this issue all week and how it is impacting you, EVE Online players at WOW! Internet.
Current status is that we at CCP are in contact with multiple people at WOW! at all levels of the company, have an open support ticket with Cloudflares’ Enterprise Support, and we have been bridging communication between WOW! and Cloudflare. Both WOW! and Cloudflare confirmed this afternoon that they are now in direct contact, diagnosing and trying to resolve this issue, which is a network routing issue between WOW! and Cloudflare.
Please send both us and WOW! a support ticket with details.
EVE’s Customer Support confirmed today that the only pattern to these disconnect issues are customers of WOW! Internet. Some very few other players are also experiencing disconnects and we want to hear about your experience in a support ticket (see ...

Read moreUpdate 13:30 Evetime : We have just deployed a hotfix for this issue - when redeeming this SP reward it will apply to unallocated SP properly instead of going to inventory as an item.
The client does not yet properly indicate this change but a fix for that is in the works.
We are still looking into fixing the SP rewards that were already redeemed before this hotfix was in place.
I don’t think this will break anything necessarily but I would recommend against it. I anticipate these will just be cleaned up on the database level and the missing SP will be added straight to accounts - but I’ll have more information on how the fix will work soon.
