I’m not part of the launcher team, but I have seen this a few times when the launcher is not successfully installed for some reason. By far the most common cause is when the launcher is being run from the downloads (or similar) folder directly. It needs to be installed for the update feature to work. This usually involves dragging it to the ‘Applications’ folder on first run. This caught me out many times when I started using masOS.

Failing that, there may be a permissions issue, but why it would run when being downloaded from the website is a bit confusing.

That’s great news, and thanks for letting us know Performance does seem to be good, given that this is running through Wine and then Rosetta2. Apple have done a great job!

Conversations internally about how we continue to support Mac long term are still happening

If you’re able to provide any details to the community on changes you needed to make to get it working, that would be appreciated. Or Is it a case of it just working?

If there is a large team working towards a singular end product that would probably be considered as a single partnership - however we will take larger teams into consideration and potentially offer additional rewards. If multiple teams are working on multiple different areas, all under a larger umbrella such as INN then that would likely be separate apps / partnerships which we would consider individually.

I cannot stress how excited we are to start the program and strengthen our cooperation with many fantastic community contributors out there! This is a first step towards providing better support for passionate individuals who dedicate their time to entertain and educate EVE Online pilots.

If you do multiple things feel free to mention that in your app, but for the most part we may only look at your ‘largest’ area in terms of sizing you up for acceptance. You don’t need to meet requirements on all platforms you participate in, just one.
