Campaign Map Fixes:
  • On high-resolution displays, there was an issue with, after entering The Campaign Map, that the main screen was not centered. This has been fixed.
  • In addition, within the Campaign Map, there were sometimes technical issues that were caused by players being able to negotiate a province (after they had already intiated an attack on the same province). This has been now been fixed.

  • When creating a guild message, the first post was not sent to all the guildmates. They now receive it again!
  • If you had the Golden Crops from the Fall Event in the Bronze Age, your guild would receive Bronze Age goods in the treasury. It now gives Iron Age goods for your guild.
  • Our Wiki did not display the Antique Dealer values for the Golden Crops building. They will now be there (after the Wiki also got updated)
  • When visiting other players cities, that did not have unlocked the Antiques Dealer yet, a wrong status indicator would be shown. We removed this one.

  • When collecting from the Mountain Reserves, the special sounds were missing. You can now hear the bears, eagles and moose again!
  • We also fixed collecting sound issues for various residential, production and goods buildings!
  • When trying to remove the last unit from your PvP Arena defending army, the warning said, that the personal ranking would also reset. This is wrong and has been fixed.
  • The difficulties for the fights in the Egyptian Settlement were not translated.
  • Incidents could appear behind the timer for the Event Hub. The will no longer appear there.

  • We fixed an issue where donating medals to the Guild Treasury would sometimes result in error and reload the game immediately.
  • The right bar would sometimes display an icon showing that not all buildings are properly connected to streets. This would usually happen when placing a building that requires a 2x2 street, despite the building being properly attached to the street. This issue has been fixed now.
  • We fixed an issue where opening the ranking window would sometimes change your Social Bar ranking points, thus showing a negative number. This issue would only happen under specific conditions (for example, having a lot of ranking points).

We are happy to bring you the Community Sprint in the Changelog 1.209. This is only the first batch of the changes we've been working on, as we will have a continuation of these changes with the Changelog 1.210. Over the past few weeks we've been collecting your feedback, and we've received a lot of feature and improvement requests (everything well described, detailed and very interesting).

In addition to that, we are aware that many of you also asked for drastic changes to the Army Management, Inventory and Trade windows. Nevertheless, the scope of work for such changes would be too large for 1 or 2 updates, unfortunately. Therefore, we won't be able to deliver all the changes that have been requested with these two updates, but this doesn't mean that these features will not be revisited in the future.

In June (for version 1.209), we are planning to move forward with a Community Sprint. To clarify what that means, a Sprint is typically a two-week period where our developer teams work on specific topics, and for this two-week period they will entirely focus on quality of life and usability improvements for Forge of Empires.
