The other possibility would be to deactivate the notifications for the page in the browser. This option should be available via clicking the lock icon:
 

Also, have you tried incognito mode? It seems like there is probably an extension, that is causing this.  

I am unable to reproduce this, can you share a bit more information? Does this happen right away after you refreshed the game?

This bug is currently "expected".
To give you a bit of background info: There is only one direction set for when a bird spawn. This is to the right. Birds can spawn in different corners. The rotation can be different from the direction the bird flies. It is only refreshed, once the birds go in a different direction.
As this is only a small issue and difficult to fix, it may take a while to fix it.  

The issue has been resolved. Please let us know if it occurs again.  

We'll let you know which version is required to play the event.
This is not a bug, though. The event start on mobile is always a bit delayed.

I could reproduce it now, but only if I set my browser zoom to 50%. Do you play on such a zoom level or do you use a 4k monitor?  

Just tested it and can't reproduce it. Anything I have to consider, like a very high screen resolution? Have you tried clearing your cache already?
