We're aware of an issue in Fortnite Creative and UEFN where placed switches reset to "Off" when a new player joins the session.

We are investigating an issue with the Blizzard Grenade in Fortnite Creative and UEFN. Damage will continue to affect the player who enters the storm until the player is eliminated.

Probably is a bug considering this update I'm pre sure they discontinued the old day light device and no matter what you gotta use the new chapter 5 lighting, somewhere along the way probably just bugged out

There is an issue on consoles where creators may be unable to name islands. As a workaround, go to ‘island settings’ then the ‘overview’ tab and select the ‘Edit Island Name and Description’ button. The island can then be successfully renamed and virtual keyboard can be opened.

We are working on a fix for an upcoming update.

Attempting to open the virtual keyboard when interacting with HUD Message Device / Skilled Interaction Device / Pop-up Dialog Device will lock the creator into the device UI until the Cancel/Discard button is pressed multiple times. This will be fixed in a future update.

Players may experience inconsistencies with text chat for Game Channels in your UEFN and Creative islands.

The moment has arrived—you can now publish your Fortnite islands using the First Person Camera mode device!

*Generate a New Island Code Before Publishing: To publish an island using the First Person Camera Mode device, you must first generate a new island code. Open UEFN, make a small change to generate a new code, and then create a new private version of the island to publish. Attempting to publish an existing private island containing the First Person Camera Mode Device will be unsuccessful, as it will still be flagged as containing an experimental feature.

There is an issue in already published Fortnite Creative islands where players will not see or be granted fishing rod items. We are working on a fix for a future update. The following workaround is available for new islands created after Fortnite Ecosystem v33.00.

  • Place the Fishing Rod Barrel
  • Break the Barrel and collect the Rod items
  • Repeat this process to be sure you have both varieties
  • Place the items into the item devices
  • You’ll then see the fishing rod loaded again

This has been fixed.
