Was trying to have some fun, its not allowed I forgot. Will get back to being a robot and provide non-fun/human responses.

Now on the serious side again, most if not all of these bugs have been reported, its just a matter of getting internal repros and having the team fix them.

Reporting the issue is the first step in a long pipeline of steps that need to happen to get a bug fixed. As I have said before, some are way easier than others and get fixed faster, others are difficult and take months.

One aspect of the story that might go overlooked: the griefer stayed in the party to invite a friend back to continue griefing.

This is a new problem that was introduced by the changes to party privacy a few releases ago, I believe - anyone in the party can invite players to join, whether or not they're friends with the party leader. IIRC, before that change, "invite only" meant the leader had to invite people to join.

The way it works now, it's a lot riskier to play with people you don't know well than it should be, because they can invite anyone they know.

This is great feedback and the way you've explained it makes a lot of sense, so thanks for that.

A lot of good thoughts I think and its something I'll pass along and see what the leads think and feel is possible.

no this guy is not afk/leech, this guy is our game's communication manager or something.

hope they ban that afk/leech degenerate player instead of deleting this post.

IM sharing the details and post with the team.

Or the person who is trying to fix the game and avoid exploits :) Besides, its not like the person posting this isn't doing the same thing, with or without a tag, I'm very likely to see this post.

I don't recall seeing this previously or getting tagged in anything like this. I'll submit it along and see what can be done. Thanks.

tag him once more he might have muted me or blocked me

his communication manager

and this issue has been here for long time and thousands of players have gone thru it

i see few white knights trying to defend but this is the true fortnite experience unless you use discord groups or other social media sources which does not and should not count as good experience

There is no reason to block or mute you but I really dont understand the need to tag me nearly a dozen times for the same thread. A thread that came up over the weekend and not during the normal work week/hours nonetheless. If I missed this during the normal week and I was tagged on Monday and its a week later I can see why.

Getting back to the point and the post in question around toxic players, once I saw the first tag and opened this post up today, I already commented in our team Slack channel with the STW raising this thread as a point aggravation among the players.

If the team is able to fix or alleviate the issue and feels comfortable with me sharing that info, I will do so. But in the mean time, all I can suggest is to try to keep your lobbies on private and find players in the community Discord or other places that will help with the objectives.

What are your current system specs as well?

u/FreightTrainUSA, you said something about wanting to inform the team about husks "dealing too much damage"? I say one of the changes you made back during the jailbuild fix was the husks getting a buff in there. Which was not needed.

The husks didnt get any specific buffs when we resolved the issue that prevented them from attacking the objective correctly.

I can say that i have seen a handful of DTB issues and have reported them to the team. I know we've fixed several issues around the track and terrain not being able to get built and several other issues.

The team still knows there are some issues that are occur in DTB but as I have said in other post, some issues take priority vs others. As we get more reports of DTB issues, ill continue to share them and hopefully they can get knocked out soon.

Sent you a message on Discord about this bug, and the Ninja jumping bug.

The mission generation system is bugged, not DTB or the Weekly Quest; the Weekly quest is programmed to check for "160 & Mission.Alert". The mission is spawning as a 160, but not as an alert so it doesn't count for the weekly quest.

A simple temp solution could be to just change the quest requirement for the supercharger weeklies to where they only check for 160 or higher instead of 160 and Alert.

This change seems to be part of the overhaul that occurred with the Daily Login Rewards. That update removed Mission Alrerts to not include Deliver the Bomb, so this is actually working as intended.

Just need to make sure im understanding this correctly. DTB missions are not counting toward the weekly challenge correct? Or does this have to do with the alerts?

Thanks for the tag, always helpful. Tossed this to our live issues team to look into and get a repro.

Just curious what the estimate is so we can get the info out (if you're willing to make a statement, I mean).

The NPCs just took a bit of a different vacation schedule then we did at Epic. They will be back soon!

I am with you in this one, I already posted a topic about unbalanced husks and people seem to agree with it.

u/FreightTrainUSA, I think it's time for another husk balancing.

As they say, if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a Husk.... or i think they say that at least.... hmmm... anyways, beyond working on dodging beehives and stuff i can ask if anything weird is going on with Husk behavior like if something is doing a crazy amount of damage to players.
