Hey everyone! I'm glad you guys are enjoying this weapon. It's definitely unique and a ton of fun to use! However, there currently seems to be an issue with it's fire rate. I hit another thread with this so I'll quote it here for you all.

The Plasmatron fire rate appears to be a lot lower than intended. We're looking into getting this fixed. You can expect to see more shots once this is resolved. About 4.5ish for Shadow Shard and 5ish for Obsidian.

Most definitely! Like I said above, the team is still hammering away on some of the requested features.

The endless mode is definitely fun and provides a pretty good challenge. I'm looking forward to everyone trying it out.

If so then why would the br team need to try new things with the husks if they weren't planned on being used much in the future?

Beta Storms are designed so that we can test out new mission types without fully adding them into the regular mission rotation. This allows us to pull them down, make iterations, and add them back. We've made a lot of iterations to those based on community feedback.

Regarding the BR husks.. they made their first appearance in Fortnitemares. The tech was there and they ultimately made a return for the Winter event and now in this new LTM.

What i loved about Horde rush:

  1. Zombies coming from all directions , mixed with one tank
  2. Storm constantly moving , so we cannot just sit in one place
  3. Limited Resources . We just cannot kill every zombie and mixed with tank , the constant look for resources.
  4. Final Boss zombie mixed with tank and team of zombies , with storm constantly moving and shrinking is an adrenaline rush

I'm really curious at what players are finding that they enjoy about the mode. It opens the door for more ideas in STW regarding features, etc. Looking forward to hearing more of this from the community.

Hey everyone,

Lots of discussion in this thread! I definitely understand the concerns about the mode and the features that you guys want over in STW (Emotes, etc). I do want to reiterate that this is only a temporary LTM and that allows the BR dev team to try new things.. much like a Beta Storm for STW. This also gives Switch and Mobile players the opportunity to try a PVE experience.

For those that actually hop in and try the mode.. I would love to hear your thoughts on things about this mode that you enjoyed during your time playing it. :)

We're definitely keeping an eye on these threads and hammering away at some of the things you've been asking for.

Traps with Increased building health and Heal attached building perk are not working after leaving your SSD (the perk aren't saved).

Evidence:

Join your SSD.

Place a trap with Increased building health or Heal attached building perk on a wall (for exemple T3 metal).

Leave the SSD.

Rejoin your SSD.

Your wall with the Increased building health perk have now the same health than other wall type (T3 metal).

If you start a wargame and damage the wall with the "Heal attached building" perk, the wall won't be healed.

The mode is definitely fun but I wouldn't directly compare it to STW as it's no where near as complex or deep.

There was some great reception around the Deimos fiends and the team wanted to use them again in some way.

You never know what type of LTM or Beta Storm will appear as we're always discussing new ideas.
