This patch addresses the issue in Creative involving a crash that may occur after double-clicking on an item in the Chest tab. We'll keep you updated as this issue is resolved on all remaining platforms.

Hey, everyone!

Today, we've released a maintenance patch for PC, Mac, and Android that's available for download upon opening or relaunching the game.

On PC, this patch addresses the issue in BR involving controller players getting stuck spectating with no UI if their "Ready Up" is cancelled. We'll keep you updated as this issue is resolved on the other affected platforms.

So it was a change on purpose instead of a bug? In the link I have, the graphic icon for shiver shows her being able to use her backbling with her tail still showing, even though now it’s not possible (which can be considered false advertising)

I feel like something like lynx’s edit style where you can disable the tail would make more sense than having the tail be disabled if you are running a backbling (I’m assuming this change was to combat against some backblings clipping with the tails)

To clarify this a bit, our goal is that tails on Outfits are hidden whenever a long back bling is equipped (like a cape), however for some Outfits they are disappearing whenever any back bling is equipped (which is a bug).

We are working to update these items to adapt to the length of certain back blings and hide/unhide appropriately.

Skins with tails are only supposed to have their tails removed for "long" backblings. Monks is working intentionally here, the others are the ones with the bug.

This issue started last update. The only way to fix this seems to be uninstalling Fortnite and reinstalling it, which I did last week and it fixed the issue. With the new update, however, it's back to looking like this. Uninstalling the game each update to fix this issue is a bit annoying.

I'll share this with some folks so we can investigate. thanks

A lot of devices over time have gone through graphical adjustments. This is our largest change to this many devices at one time. These changes went into affect v12.30 and not v12.40. Any changes in graphics you are currently seeing in v12.40 are not directly related to the changes made in the devices listed above.
