someone else here in this subreddit put up a montage on YT (posted earlier today). I think Unyshek is talking to them about doing a montage of sorts on Twitter every so often... but we'll discuss. The idea originated as a way to help drive more followers and engagement on Instagram (which is still a smaller channel for us) but at some point it's still fun content that warrants the most eyeballs possible.

That is "Gyoza" the pug, who belongs to Kenny, a technical art director at 343.

As others have stated, the unfortunate issue here is really a matter of player population. Earlier on, the settings were stricter and EU players were unable to find matches and had to endure very long waits. Based on player feedback, things were loosened up, which at least allows players to get into games, but the majority of the time it ends up on NA servers since that's where the population is. Finding ways to deal with low population regions has been a longstanding challenge for MCC though I hope the release of Reach will bring in more players and bring new life to the EU data centers. I'm not sure if they'll add in a "I'll wait as long as it takes to only play on a specific server" option, but I'll certainly flag this again for the team to consider. (it's even worse for the diehard MCC players in Australia)

I consider it news, sad no ones posted them on here this is my first time hearing about these

Ha, same, I literally just made a post this AM to make sure people knew we were posting these bi-weekly on Instagram. It's the ONLY shred of Infinite news/related content you'll find right now. (shameless plug : please follow Halo on Instagram :) if this is popular and the communtiy enjoys it, we can continue doing it)

Post

hey folks - Not sure if I've seen it mentioned here (at least not recently) but for those who may not know, we've been sharing some fun content on the Halo Instagram account over the past few months. Our audio team has been providing us with small video snippets from their various field recording sessions as they work on the sound design for Halo Infinite. We typically post these every other Saturday, usually in the morning. The most recent example was recording sounds from a "propane cannon" and the one prior was getting all sorts of grunts and snorts out from a loveable Pug.

In any case, thought some folks might not be aware and would find this interesting - after all, it's literally the only thing even remotely related to Infinite you'll find online right now. Big kudos to our audio team for sharing this with us and our community - it's been fun trying to guess and extrapolate how/where/what these sounds may become in Infinite. As long as the community enjoys it, we'll ...

Thank you Sketch!

I attended Orlando for all the days with the friends I have made over Halo over the years. Even though it was a bit rough to start it was the greatest Halo experience I could have asked for.

Hope to have more things like this and maybe someday I'll be able to come to 343i and see around the studio.

A Spartan never dies, they just grow up to be adults. - A random thought I had when making this

Love the quote! I also loved how this event brought together multiple generations of Halo fans - I heard numerous stories from dad's who grew up on Halo and were thrilled to share in these experiences with their kids. Likewise, multiple stories of life long Halo fans who'd only known each other online who had an opportunity to meet in person thanks to Outpost. <3

This is a bit belated, but needed a few days to recoup after Outpost Anaheim (and a long summer of touring!).

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who came to Halo Outpost this summer! Whether you were there for the very first moments in Orlando or for the finale in Anaheim, or anywhere in between, I and everyone here greatly appreciate your support and passion for Halo.

This was a wild. ambitious project well outside our comfort zone as a game development studio. Thankfully our partners at Herschend were as passionate and committed as all of us in the Halo family and they worked week after week to listen to feedback and continually iterate and improve the experience. We had some bumps along the way, and there are definitely plenty of learnings and great ideas and feedback to work through as everyone considers opportunities for the future. I really appreciate the ...

Flew in this morning, flying out tonight. What a ton of fun! I did VIP and thought it was definitely worth it, even though I had to leave for the airport before I could take advantage of the later extra hour.

Lines were about an hour and a half for each thing. I came alone so I was able to skip a good chunk for the Combat Deck and Ring Experience.

Missed out on the Steve and Jen signing, staff said they hit max capacity with tickets at 7am! Managed to get a ticket to get something signed by Frankie and Joe. Also got signatures from Kelly, Matt, and Troy. Gushed about Renegades to Kelly. Couldn’t track down Grim, saw Bravo and Ske7ch quite a bit but i didn’t want to be that guy and pull them away from enjoying everything. I was lucky enough to get a picture with Steve and Jen though when they did a surprise visit to the VIP Lounge!

Troy had a fresh copy of Oblivion on the signing table, said they literally just got the first handful in a few days ago...

Dude you totally should've stopped me to say hi! That's what we're there for, no worries of being "that guy" when everyone there is there to soak up Halo and meet and mingle. Glad to hear you had a great time! Anaheim was a blast.
