I don’t recall the CE pistol (or any weapon until Reach, for that matter) having bloom visually indicated by the reticle.
CE pistol does.
go hold down the trigger and full auto it.
I think the OP was referring to the reticle being stretched horizontally.
Edit: presumably due to a wider FOV?
well with no further context i took a guess based off what i've seen players asking about previously when it comes to expanding reticles and the CE pistol. :)

The website used to track LASO completion. Now it says that the highest difficulty completed is legendary. This is an insult to the blood sweat and tears that I have put into LASO (especially 2 & CE). I at least want bragging rights on the website, lol.

It’s social, this type of stuff is just part of the playlist since day one. In other games I could see it as toxic, sure. Halo social has always been a anti-competitive sandbox, which is sadly rare in many shooters. Anyone getting pissed off about it is whatever, but bannable? Come on just allow yourself to goof off, it’s what it’s there for.
