Its not 35mb downloading only. Its 35mb downloading and steam applying that data and verifying that in the total amount of gamefiles. So thats 20, 30GB?

Hey everyone,

We are pleased to announce that a hotfix for Update 12 ‘Falling Dark’ is now live. Over the next several weeks our focus will turn to continued optimization, bug fixing and ongoing polish.

For a comprehensive list of changes for this hotfix please read the changelog below.

In future Dev Briefs will be announcing what the next content update will bring, along with parity for console players. This will be a huge milestone for the game and the community as a whole. This means that future updates across platforms will be released at the same or similar time, and allow us to work far more efficiently.

We want to thank the entire community for your ongoing support, and extend this to our own team who work very hard to put out these updates and fixes. We are extremely excited for the future of HLL, and we hope you are too.

See you on the frontline! o7

Any of the upscalers need a engine upgrade. This isnt planned for the forseeable future to give room for bugfixes and new game content but it certainly is something that is on the planning.

For now maybe try Lossless Scaling on Steam or NIS in the control panel. But in general they are GPU related and the game is leaning more towards CPU, so a upscaler should not have that much impact atm.

Heeyhey OP!

Please Verify your Local Game Content in Steam. A pak chunk error is usually fixed after verifying. Might need to run it multiple times fiy ;).

I was aware of Stalingrad receiving some updates, but was unaware of Carentan. Good to know! So, would you say this is a process from update to update, depending on the circumstances?

Thanks Danny!

Jep, depends on the workload on any future number of updates and how they are scheduled. When there is more time, more custom lods. In general there is a nice batch at each update ;).

Fellas, yes the LoD is bad at certain distances. But, DannyArt via discord also stated that he, possibly a few others (but pretty sure just Danny), is working on custom LoD's to be implemented at a further date. Apparently "some" LoD's in U13 have been altered but I'm unaware of which. It be nice to see some development towards the new LoD's, and verify if U13 did indeed include "some" LoD changes. Nothing was specified in the patch notes.

u/DannyArt_HLL hate to tag you ol' buddy, but would you mind explaining this to the myself and the lads here..? Is that possible? Hate to put you on the spot here but felt this was a good opportunity to have a decent source to pull from. Thanks Danny!

Edit: U12 not 13

Also, you mean U12 right?
