I can't get over the fact this game is so much more immersive and better looking than most AAA games. I fell in love with this game within the first 30 minutes of playing and I can't stop. Truly a masterpiece. πŸ‘Œ

Thanks soooo much for the kind and warm words... 😊 Teamwork!

They all deserve as much recognition as possible, they did what much larger game studios couldn't or wouldn't do. Bravo, I tip my cap to all who took part in development of this game.

You can always try and play any game supported by Geforce NOW on your pad. I even play Hell Let Loose on my phone this way ;).

Would it be possible to make the game work for current Linux / Proton users as a start?

Currently not, then we need a upgrade to Epics Online Services as far as I know. But, this is more a Q for the programming department.

Hey everyone,

Welcome to Dev Brief #150!

This week we've got an extensive Dev Brief that allows us to showcase some upcoming items in the U11 patch.

Then, as a couple of cherries on the cake we've got some great community events and media to showcase to you all. So without any delay, let’s begin.

This is one of a few different fixes we are looking at to improve the overall in-game comms, to make sure there is open and clear communication between all players. In a dev breif in the past, they described "smart materials" where you essentially have one texture for each material, e.g one for wood, one for steel and so on. The russian tanks already have this system and have higher resolution textures

Spot on! Smart Materials will be applied over time to all vehicles ;).

Hi everyone,

It's that time of the week again so lets jump right in!

Audio Occlusion

We have begun adding Audio Occlusion to certain groups of sound effects. Occlusion is the effect on the sound when obstructed by objects in the game world, reducing volume and high frequencies. Currently we have applied occlusion to weapons, vehicles and certain character sounds and foley. At present, Buildings and Landscapes all obstruct sounds. As we refine this feature we will apply the settings to more sound effects and potentially more objects within the game world.

As we continue to develop the soundscape we try to revisit the sounds that we and the community feel are lacking behind. For this update we have chosen to re-design 6 of our current weapons. These include: M1 Garand, Browning M1919, M1903 Springfield, MP40, STG and MG42. We have also re-designed the reload sounds for the M1 Garand, MP40 and STG. This will bring these weapons in line with the ... Read more
