Hey everyone,

Today we’re pleased to be sharing with you an early look at some tweaks, changes and bug fixes coming to the console version of Hell Let Loose!

The majority of these will be coming in a Day 1 patch for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, with a few extra bits coming in a priority post-launch patch.

Aiming and Deadzones - What's in the Day 1 Patch

  • Improvements to deadzone when aiming down sights (ADS) to feel more circular, allow greater precision and register finer input.

It has been a very busy few weeks culminating in the much awaited release of the latest patch. P16 was focused strongly on ‘optimisation’ and we have been very humbled by the community receiving it so well.

The good news here is that work is still ongoing regarding optimisation, and we continue to look at ways to improve the overall performance of HLL. We are pleased to be moving in the right direction with each and every update we make, and we strive to make the Hell Let Loose experience even better in the future.

Patch 16 came with a number of anticipated QOL changes highlighted by the Community and we will be continuing this pattern to improve the core experience of HLL as updates and patches are released.

Meanwhile please continue to use the Discord feedback channels as a way to share issues and bugs you may experience, the team look at this on a daily basis, so thanks to those who give concise feedback to hel... Read more

True... there were a small amount of DEV kits available and we didnt made the cut... so we just need to wait and see when the deck either launches or when they are available again...

Plus we gotta hope and see how EAC and Proton works together. Fingers crossed 🤞!

A D3D error can usually being fixed by DDU your GPU drivers. A fix has been posted in Discord:

(Q) I have a problem with: LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

(A) From HLL Discord member: RushTheBus i did a quick google of that error, seems fairly common i think the biggest things would be to make sure your drivers are updated
